"Oh. That's good. It's good you came up here." Angel seemed tired and very out of it, almost like she had just come off of anesthesia or something, even though there obviously wasn't any in the house and none that was used on her. "Everything hurts so much."

"Don't worry, I'm right here." Joseph said, taking hold of her hand with both of his. "Everything is going to be ok."

"But we're still in the house. There isn't any guarentee. And Bryant...." Angel trailed off. "Nothing is going to be okay again."

Tears rolled down Angel's face, and she weakly attempted to sit up to give him a hug, however she wasn't strong enough and flopped back on the bed.

Once she was safely in his arms, she wrapped an arm around his neck, burying her face in his shoulder. "You're not allowed to get beat up as bad as I did. Don't even think about it."

She remained quiet for a while, until a jab of pain sent her doubling over in agony. She cried out, her hands wrapping around her abdomen. It was worse than any pain she had felt before, and she had no idea what was causing it, which made it worse.

"Inside. It's everywhere in my chest and stomach. It hurts so badly... so badly..." It was at this point that Angel's eyes rolled back into her head and she passed out in his arms.

Elizabeth heard the commotion and opened her eyes. "What's all the commotion about? What happened?" she asked, her eyes widening and adrenaline suddenly waking her up.

"She passed out again." Joseph said. "She said her chest and stomach was hurting."

"I knew there was bleeding... dang, she needs surgery or something... if only there were a needle and thread..." she got up and started rushing around the hideout, throwing stuff on the ground looking for the objects in here, hoping and praying.
