"Thanks," Heidi murmured to Sage, using the water to clean up the blood, slowly calming the boy down, before he proceeded to empty the contents of his stomach onto the floor. "I'll clean that up..." Heidi told Sage.

Paul frowned, catching the shirt. "Uh...can't you just remove it yourself, Heidi?"

"Of course," Luke smiled softly, sitting beside her and taking her hand.

"Dried blood is really hard to control, it's more of a powder, not much you can do with it," Heidi stated, before nodding to Sage.

"Th-Thank you..." Kira murmured, holding Luke's hand in both of her own. She slowly fell asleep, her breathing become less labored, and Kira herself looking far more peaceful.

Luke watched her sleep, a bit in awe of how beautiful she was. He didn't want to move his hand since she had it held in both hands, reasoning it would wake her. Besides, it took his mind off his memories.

"Ah, that's a good point," Paul nodded, "But when it's wet it should be easier?"

Sage conjured up the mop, and handed it over to Heidi as well.

"How are you feeling now?" Sage asked the boy.

"Aw, shit," Kriska muttered. "There goes three years of my life. Damn circus freaks."

Erika moved back. "No. I'm... I'm sick of being treated like some fragile flower. A husband and wife are equals..."

Nathan frowned and then smirked, he called upon Darkness and forced Rose's shadows to freeze in place before curling the lightning around it.

Tom remained stoic.

"Circus freaks?" he questioned, raising one eyebrow.

Heidi nodded to Paul, gratefully taking the mop, before patting Benji on the head. "Yeah, I'll wash it out later," she told him, beginning to clean up the vomit.

Benji was curled up on the bed, shaking. At least he wasn't screaming anymore.

"We are, Erika." Joey said, worried about her. "But it also means we help each other when the one or the other needs it."

Erika's eyes turned dark and sharp. "...I didn't ask for your help."

With that the woman ran off.

Erika ran until she was way out of the village, before leaning agaisnt a tree and breathing heavily. She was angry at herself for overeacting. I shouldn't have done that... but...

The woman knew she should go apologize to Joey, and would have if not at that moment a cloth covered her mouth, causing her to struggle but moments later the world going dark.

Rose frowned, and suddenly her expression turned bored. Then Nathan would seem to lose control over Beige's shadows instantly, a stronger force taking control. The shadows threw themselves backwards, forming an iron coating of solid shadows to protect herself. "I am Beige. Defense is what I am."

"Where are they now?" Tom asked, wondering if they could be the root of Kriska's amnesia. If so, he may have to pay them a visit.
