"Nathan sent word to let us know to let you in and walk around without any hostility..." Elliot commented from nearby. His head resting lazily on his hand as he sat in a chair of bones

"Which is something that we are apprehensive about." Carly added from Tom's other side.

"What the two of them are trying to say..." Jacob said calmly. "Is that we're here to work out whether or not we can trust you considering last time we saw you, you threatened us."

"And what's that going to entail?" Tom asked, equally calm. Old battle instincts made him apprehensive about being outnumbered by two. His face had gone from stubble to having a light beard, and his shaggy hair was beginning to go grey.

Kira blushed a bit herself, pulling away from Luke. "Um...l-lunch! What d-do you want to eat?" she asked, biting her lip.

Kira sighed, giving in. "Okay...um...we c-could make grilled cheese, um...noodles, salad..." she trailed off, trying to think of something decent.

"I should have some bread and cheese in the icebox..." Kira murmured to herself, before turning to Luke. "Um, we'll need a flat rock, and th-then can you please start a fire?" she asked.

Erika blnked a little in surprise. That's why Kira and Luke didn't want to stay in the village... but dammit! You'd think after all we've seen they'd try to be decent people?!

The woman inwardly calmed herself down. When I get back I'll have to talk with the others about this. We're still the leaders for now...

"If we do join the villages, I think afterwards we should hold an election." The brunette blurted.

Kira soon came back holding a loaf of bread along with a cheese chunk. "Do you have a knife on you?" she asked, not having one to cut the bread or cheese with.

Luke went to his pack, fishing out one of the throwing knives he had in the tournament with a tinge of regret. He flipped it around, holding it with two fingers on the blade so he could offer Kira the hilt.

"Careful with it, it's weighted a bit weirdly," Luke told her.

Kira smiled at Luke as she took the knife. "I'm not going to cut myself," she laughed, cutting the cheese into slices, before starting to do the same to the bread, successfully cutting her finger.

Kira stuck out her tounge childishly at Luke as she bandaged her finger, before putting together the sandwiches and handing them to Luke to put on the fire.

Kira continued to pout, biting into her grilled cheese when she deemed it safe. "You're good at cooking things," she smiled slightly.

"My favourite use of my Flow, to be honest. I had plenty of practice, and it doesn't take much doing," Luke explained modestly. "Just stick something on the fire, take it off when it looks tastier, really."
