Kira smiled, moving closer to Luke as they walked. "I'll see if I can remember something to make it heal a bit faster, or numb the pain a bit, at least," she continued.

Sage sighed as she went back to her house. Today was a little much for her...and right now, she just wanted to curl up in her own bed...maybe for a small nap, unless she was seriously needed.

"I'm glad I'm making a difference," Luke replied, smiling softly. That was one of the best things he could have heard at that time, it really lifted him up and made him feel important.

Luke blinked, a little surprised at how earnest she was. Then he wrapped her in a hug, feeling happy, relieved, and really in love.

Kira froze in surprise for a moment, before hugging Luke back, smiling happily. When he was happy, she was happy, and he certainly seemed happy right now.

Kira pulled back slightly, kissing Luke on the cheek. She didn't know why everyone looked at him as if he was some sort of freak. He was the most wonderful person she'd met in a long time.

Sage gave her a smile, and went into the house, and then up the stairs to her bedroom.

Of course, the bed was already made, and she lifted the covers back and slid into it.

"I'll change when I get up..." she mumbled to herself.

Erika nodded to both statements. "However, I disagree with Nathan going on like he did. I don't knwo the full story about the incident that set him off, but if we're goign to join, it has to be a positive thing for both sides."

Luke went red at the kiss, glad she had kissed him in the side of his face that wasn't burnt.

Tom wandered along the village, expecting a largely negative reaction to his arrival. After all, the last time he'd seen most of them, he'd been threatening them, even if it hadn't really been him. Not to mention, none of them knew who he really was. He'd technically lived with them for five years, but he hadn't been there for that.
