Josephine rolled her eyes when she noticed Suzume look at her, wondering if the stranger had noticed her position yet. She managed to get the light down to a soft glow, mentally berating herself for not having better control.

The bluntness caused a bit of Jason's own temper to rise and a pained expression appeared on his face. "What do you mean... people like me?"
His hand was twitching uncontrollably now, the pressure he was under from eyepatch and the lack of support from Mother and Spec's weren't helping him at all.

Jason's temper rose to a level where it was almost too difficult to control, and then the girl surrounded by light made an appearance. His temper dropped when he saw the light colour, which appeared soothing. And then Specs and Mother were back.
