"Yip yip, of course, why wouldn't we?" The voice said, walking past her to reveal that it was a small anthropomorphic fox. "The one meant to guide us has finally come!"

"Meant to.... guide you?" Jane was confused. And now she was almost afraid to admit that she was the Rogue, at least according to Joey. Or the guy who was supposed to be Joey.

"Come, yip yip, we all must celebrate her coming!" The fox said, grabbing her hand, and beginning to try and drag her to the village, which was currently being decorated by the local villagers.

Nearby, some of the younger foxes were playing in the grass with each other.

"Foxes?" Jane said, confused out of her mind. Oh god, things were going too fast. She frowned. "Wait, wait, wait." she objected to the fox trying to drag her.

All the foxes paused, before turning to the girl in silence, their eyes widening.

They all then swarmed her, before putting a crown on her head, and carrying her off to the center of the town.

Jane didn't scream, but she was still really freaked out. She didn't understand the crown, and what exactly they were doing, but she was hoping that they wouldn't eat her like they did in Pirates of the Carribbean.

The foxes set her down in a decorated chair, before beginning to celebrate.

"All hail the Rogue of Light!" One of the younger foxes shouted as they began the celebration, all of them completely oblivious to Jane's confusion.

It was here that Jane smiled. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad. She crossed her leg in the chair, and smirked. Queen? Perfect.

"YIP YIP, IMPS!!" One fox shouted, as pure black beings began running into the village.

Vayn was still stuck with trying to get the purple egg down from the tree. Normally, it'd be a matter of leaping up the side and grabbing it, but knifebirdsprite wouldn't have any of that.

Vayn absconds to his room, and opens pesterchum. Amber still hadn't responded, so he opened Joey's window.

--xenophobicAtrophy [XA] began pestering dynamicHero [DH]--

XA: What do I do?
XA: Timer's at 5:00
XA: The egg is stuck in a tree
XA: The kernelsprite is flippin' out over me getting near it
XA: Do I need to crack the egg? Can I even strife with the sprite?
XA: And what's the timer even for?

"Oh shit." Jane said, and begun fumbling with her daggers. She pulled them out of their sheaths at her side, and charged at the imps. She slashed two down, and stabbed a third. One used its claws to scratch her arm, and Jane quickly stabbed it in the head, and in one swift motion decapitated a sixth. She had no idea how many more there were.

Joey sighed, as JoeySprite was currently killing Ogres, and taking the materials that came from them. He then discovered a message from Vayn, and quickly responded.

DH: I think you should hatch it!
DH: Where's your sister, maybe she can help?

The foxes began cheering as the Rogue began killing off the Imps, going up another step on the Eche-Ladder. But then a rumble went out through the nearby area, as something big approached.

Jane felt the rumble shake the ground. "Ooooooh SHIT." She was starting to panic. She needed Joey here. Or someone. Someone who knew what the hell they were doing. She shanked the last imp, and looked into the forest, no ideas on what to do.

And that's when the Ogre came. About fifteen times the size of an Imp, with humongous muscles, and a pair of tusks protruding it's mouth, it dwarfed everything in the village.

It roared before, knocking down a nearby building.

"Aw, shit!!!" Jane said no idea what to do now. The ogre looked huge, her daggers probably didn't stand a chance against it. "Fuck, fuck fuck..."

The foxes began to run away, but one unfortunate young one was too slow, and was grabbed by the ogre, who let out a huge roar.

Jane threw one of the daggers at the ogre's wrist, and it ran right through it, making the ogre scream and drop the fox. She ran over and grabbed the little fox, holding it close as she ran away herself.
