Eon's eyes shifted over the ground, something flashing in them behind her bangs. And whatever it was, it was more than just fear.

"I-"

Suddenly a loud laughing sound came from down the hallway, rapidly nearing by the second. Eon's head snapped up, eyes flashing to Mason.
"Just go! Ghost don't like me;-..GOO!!!"

Her voice sounded panicked, feet shuffling with urgency. "I'll follow!"

"Fine, fine," Mason grumbled, walking into the room, coughing at the stench. The fact that Eon seemed frightened, did little to reassure his nervousness. He looked around the room, watching for the Ariados. Damn things were impossible for him and it didn't help that he was weak to them.

He ran a hand through his hair, shying away from yet another spider web. How many of the damn things were there down here? He seriously hoped the Gengar didn't come for them, either. Those things were a pain in the ass.

"Sorry".

Eon looked up now, eyes flashing with a hint of fear, a tad bit of satisfaction, and a tiny amount of sympathy. But why should she care? She'd told him to leave and he hadn't. He'd brought this on himself. Without another word the girl shifted her beret, offered a small, sly wink, and slammed the sturdy doors shut.

The click of a lock richocheted off of the walls.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-Ari...

The pitch black room fell silent, as if the dark was a thick solid object, soundproof, sightproof, and rather depressing. But that didn't stop the most menacing of sounds from poking through it's veil. Tiny, scampering legs; almost eager; along with the cries of curious pokemon, echoed around the space.
Now out of the darkness came a terribly familiar form. Before even a split second of recognition string was being shot all over, sticky web in a torrent of silverness.

Eon frowned, giving the doors one last final look before rounding the corner and taking off at full speed down the hallway.

Mason whirled around at the sound of the door being locked. That bitch! When the Ariados appeared, Mason groaned. "Very well," he grunted, turning to face it, stepping away from the webs, "Bring it on!"

Mason quickly shifted in a flash of bright light to his Leafeon form, tail swishing with thee large notches in the left side of his tail. He growled, lowering his head and tensing at the Ariados.

"Shifters are always so queeck to violence".

A rather high pitched voice came out of the darkness now, heavily drenched with southern accent. The webs of the first ariados wrapped around the Leafeon's hinds paws, sticky and unbending.

"Now, if you had'n attaaaaycked, that would'n 'ave 'ad to 'aaaappen. Piityyyy?"

The speaker's words echoed off of the walls just like everything else, making it hard to pinpoint whether they came from the left or right. However, this was hardly unnecessary, as the voice came from neither the left, nor the right. It came from above.

"Yoompa!!!"

A girl's giggle bounced around the room, as if she were playing some sort of game. Without warning something fell from the ceiling, a blur of red, orange, pale skin, and yellow. It only stopped an inch from the ground, bouncing as if something had caught it at the last moment. And something had, witch became visible as the girl after a few moments of eyes adjusting to the darkness.
A grinning redhead lay suspended in spiderwebs, looking very nearly like an ariados herself and dressed very nearly so skimpily that she might as well be naked. If she had a need for clothes. The paleness of her skin hinted at just how little, if any, she ever went above ground.

"You are a shifter? Raaaiight?"

Eon held her beret to her head as she race down the hallway, tagalong taken care of, though perhaps not admirably. She kind of regretted locking him up like that. It was definatley less than noble; not that she cared about being noble. To put it simply...she would have found punching him in the face or giving the guy a fighting chance much more suitable than how things turned out.
Ah, well. Desperate times called for desperate measures. And she had never been much of a people person in the first place.

After many twists and turns, all the while going at a full sprint, Eon finally came to a stop. The girl didn't even seem winded. She had long, lusty legs, toned with the muscle it took to wander the city like she did. Endurance had never been much of a problem.

This part of the alley was much cleaner, even to the point were the cobwebs had ceased and the floor wasn't quite so wet. The girl walked now, turning one last corner, and arriving at a set of welcoming doors.

"Yeah, I am," Mason answered, narrowing his eyes, "What about you?" The red head certainly was suspicious, though the webs attached to him brought no worry; he'd just cut them.

He shivered, the damp, coldness of the room seriously irritating him, though he'd have to be calm if he was to keep out of a fight. He was in no position to fight two at once nor did he have the time. That bitch had tricked him, but he wasn't about to give up that easily.

The door was already slightly ajar. Crap. She was late. Something tensed in her chest as she placed a hand on the chipped paint of the door panel, and she had to swallow it down before she could will herself to take any action. Oh god she hated making an entrance. Late entrances were to worst too, because everybody noticed. At least...at least she'd shaken that guy off. Mason.
She closed her eyes, steeling herself. Perhaps it was best not to think about Mason. The girl frowned, absentmindedly running a hand through her hair. At birth her hair had been platinum blonde, but the girl started graying at only age five. By the time she was six her hair was silvery, and at seven she'd bleached it, fed up with people at school calling her a little old lady. Now it was a rather snowy white color, one streak of midnight blue going down the side of the bangs by her face, snipped up into a long sided pixie cut. A medium slate blue beret lay atop this frosty hair, courtesy of her sister and her home country.

This beret now found itself in her fingers, crushed tight into a stress ball as she finally pushed open the door.

The room itself looked like a cyclone had shot through it. A cyclone, an angry mob of soldiers, a couple of zombies, fierce winds, and a band of thieves. Despite the outside alley being cleaner this place looked like a total mess. Something about it's atmosphere was eerie; eerie an unmistakably sad. Like a haven for ghosts. As if the person who'd once lived there had come to a sudden, tragic end, and the place had crumbled afterwards.
Regardless it was also what Eon would call a second home.

"Eh?"

The girl called out in a barely sensible whisper, stepping inside and closing the door behind her. Off to her right was a dilapidated couch, full to the brim with debris, so much to the fact that part of the floor beneath it had given way, leaving it in an eternal slant. Not very useful for sitting on. Not like anybody could ever get to it anyways. A jumble of useless collateral and unidentifiable junk and wreckage lay menacingly in front of it.

Towards her left was another bit of junk, and what might have been the kitchen. But it had sense tumbled, collapsed, and been so damn ransacked that it was hard to make out what it had been. Towards the back were a bunch of old tables clustered together; way too many to have been useful by whoever once lived here. And an armchair in the corner, with more debris on top of it.

It was around those tables that everybody usually was by now. Fuck. Had they moved to a different part of the alley?

"Guys?"

Eon took a few steps into the room, looking around at the familiar mess. Sketches of people, a few looking a lot like her, littered the floor. Some had rips drawn through them. Some were checked off. Some had obviously been stamped on. A few had little doodles on their faces.

"Guuuys?"

Scratching her head, she now stopped, trying to sense her surroundings. Not...danger. She felt apprehensive about something but she didn't sense any disaster.

"Gone...."

"Ah jus' serously cain't take yew serously in that form" laughed the red-head, sitting up in her webs and crossing her feet. Slowly from the ceiling other Ariados came to join her, hanging in mid air and shooting glares at Mason that dripped in fatality.

It became clear that she was one of them. And that she too probably dripped with fatality, despite the lack of glaring. She was a spider. He was a fly. He was trapped in her web. Like any good spider would she'd sensed his struggling and come straight to the site of the tension. This was a story told by nature since spiders had ever come into creation, boobs and southern accent or not.

"Weel, ah mean, jus' look aroun! Sooooo not a shifteeeer!"

The girl laughed, voice dripping with welcome and sarcasm.

"Yoompa! I'm Anniebelle. What's your title?"

Mason sighed, trying to calm his racing heart. She was just a shifter, like himself; maybe she'd be friendly? Of course, that would be unlikely, seeing as Ariados were generally hostile, and food couldn't be too plentiful down here. Then again, the number of Rattata seemed infinite, when he thought about it

"Well personally, I feel like I have a better chance in this form," Mason grumbled, pawing at the ground. The webs were irritating to the touch and uncomfortable, as it meant he'd have a rather difficult time moving out of the way of an attack.

"I'm Mason," he answered, "Though it's less of a title, I suppose." The girl's accent was a bit confusing, but he felt like he could understand her well enough. Felt like Western Johto all over again.

"GUYS?!"

Eon drew in a breath and then yelled, which obviously got the desired effect because crashing and the sound of quick footsteps could be heard from the other room. Soon following was the sound of a clumsy thud, scrambling to get up, and then more rushing. The girl cracked a small, sly smile. That could only be one person.

"Eon! Late much?"

A familiar face came stumbling out of the adjacent room, haphazard as always. Smooth and refined don’t even seem to be in his vocabulary ; an energetic, disheveled looking young man, seeming to reflect his teen years more than his adulthood. He seemed rather tall but clumsy, standing at 6’ 1’’ with two left feet. Not what one would call muscular or stocky but not a toothpick necessarily. His chest and shoulders were a just wide enough to be considered broad but not muscular, as if they’re planning to fill in later. Same for his midsection, minus the broad part. Atop His head sat a fluffy mass of light brown hair, which can only be described as poofy, curly, wispy, and untamed. The shape of his face looked a bit more feminine than masculine, being softer in appearance, which certainly helped by those incredibly long lashes. To contrast were two fiery amber eyes, fierce and nearly golden in appearance.

He rubbed his eyes now, smiling broadly at Eon, who offered nothing but an emotionless expres​sion(if a bit less tense than usual).
"Sleeping on the job again?" the girl retorted, actually smirking. "Seron?"

The man scoffed, blushed, and looked at the floor. "It's dark and quiet".

"Where is everybody?"

"Why do you care?"

"Some dude followed me down here".

"Oh, fuck...uh...this way..."

With a seemingly far-off hand he waved her over, blinking in astonishment and disappearing back into the adjacent room.

"Ahxcuse me but...you're...just....so....CUTE!!!! YOOMPA!!!"

Within a flash Annie had crossed the room, speed ridiculously high on those webs of hers. Within the next flash she'd picked Mason up, huggling him tight against her chest.

"D'awww!!!"

"H-huh? Thanks?" If Mason could blush he would, a slight sigh of relief as he wouldn't be her next dinner(hopefully). The girl was quite strange and, though he didn't really mind her skimpy appearance(or really care), she seemed quite friendly. He didn't know what he did right, but he was sure glad he did.

The fact that his heart was pounding with fear didn't exactly help, but at least it was better than it not beating at all. He was almost certain he'd be screwed if she did attack him, and in his current state, he was quite vulnerable. Despite the danger he was in, or thought he was in, Mason couldn't help but feel the urge to try and befriend her.

The two mostly walked in silence, Eon nearly always being silent and a grave face having come down upon Seron, who was actually quite talkative; there was just nothing to say. This was the moment they'd all been dreading.

Discovery.

Drip...Drip...Drip...

Noises of splashing steps in a dank, wet corridor bounced off of the walls as Seron turned out of a doorless doorway, Eon following him into the dark. The girl stared at her bare feet against the grimy ground. Dirt and black smudges of soot were a clear contrast against such fair skin. The bottom of her cargos had gotten pretty soiled as well, sludging around behind her in the grime.

Wonder how that kid....

Eon frowned, rubbing a dusty fringe bang out of her eyes. Eh. Annie. He was probably long gone by now. And good thing too...

"We moved meeting to the Blue Room today".

Seron spoke up, looking back over his shoulder, eyes falling on his comrade with a sort of respect and amusement. Now he frowned.
"Grim started crying again".

The girl with the short white hair looked up, attention caught. "Why?"

Seron shrugged, and silence fell upon the walking two once more. Eon bit her bottom lip, rolling the pink flesh in between her teeth. There never really was a break, was there? Small prickled of worry started poking at her stomach, prodding and pushing and altogether being unpleasant. Stifling a gag, she jogged strongly up to Seron's side, waiting a moment and then passing him to get to the upcoming door. It was extremely faded, like most of the paint down here. But regardless of fade the color was still recognizably blue.

"It's been nice knowing you Mason. But seein as you got put in here there's onleh one possible ending".

Annie suddenly smiled, hug turning into more of a tight, tight grip. Webs began to form around Mason's body, sticky silver locking him in.

"I dew love shifters".

Without waiting for so much as a protest, cute and bubbly facade melted, the Ariados girl reared, letting out a small wail and then sinking her teeth into Mason's chest. Dribbles of blood began to drip down his fur and over her mouth, making her purr in bliss.
