Luke flew on, spying Tom meditating on a rock and eyeing him with interest. He'd never put much stock in meditation, but the calm man seemed to constantly be doing it in his free time.

"Nathan's busy," the big man piped up, not moving, as though he was talking to the air. Luke was momentarily taken aback before shrugging.

"How did you know I was going to see him and not going on a supply run?" he asked.

"I know many things I shouldn't," Tom replied cryptically. "Go on, go get yourself healed."

Luke hovered, not really sure what to say in his surprise. That was odd. He called a goodbye, before flying on to the village. Tom remained where he was, sitting cross-legged in plain view. This could take some getting used to.

Kira blinked, wondering why Sage was apologizing. "Um...I was w-wondering if you could h-help me with something, actually...unless y-you want to find M-Melaney."

"Since she's safe...I was just worried about her...I'll help you first, then look for her," Sage said.

Kira blushed, fidgeting. "...I-It's not th-that important..."

Luke soared over the gate, knocking on Erika's door since that was where Nathan's Flow signature was coming from.

Joey opened the door. "Yes?"

Kira pulled at her jacket. "A-Ah, well, I was just w-wondering if y-you could h-help me with m-my...appearance..." she mumbled meekly.

"That I can...?" Sage said with a blinking gaze.

"Looking for Nathan," the man with half a face replied in his dry and hoarse voice.

"He's over there." Joey said, pointing to Erika's room.

"Cheers," Luke replied gruffly, moving to enter the house and interrupt Nathan and Erika.

Kira blushed. "I-It's just...I've been dating Luke for a bit...a-and...I haven't n-needed to look pretty before...a-and..." she trailed off, looking down at her beige dress.

"I see..." Sage said, standing up so her amber coloured eyes shone, thinking. "Would you like to come into my house so we can discuss this in private? And for a mirror and such?"

"O-Okay..." Kira mumbled, still feeling rather embarrassed.

Sage put her hand on Kira's shoulder, and offered a smile. "Would you like some clothes too?

Kira nodded slightly, brushing her bangs out of her eyes.

Sage started to lead Kira to her house.

Kira followed behind her a bit awkwardly, tiny flowers marking her path.

Soon enough, they reached the house, and Sage opened the door. "You're sure about this...?"

"I d-don't want to change a-anything permanant...j-just a h-hair cut a-and nicer clothes, a-and get rid of m-my scars..."

"I can do some of that without magic," Sage said, closing the door behind her. "Just tell me how short you want it, and then I'll let you take anything you want from my closet upstairs."

Kira gestured to a spot about halfway down her back, before unbraiding her hair. "Th-Thanks..."

"No problem," Sage said as she magiked up some scissors.
