Re: Runic
Isabella! James thought, recognizing the contained one as hers, before rushing off in the direction it came from. James didn't notice, that his runes had began to spread up his arms a little.

Re: Runic
Following the orb brought James to the local park, which was surprisingly empty. Even though Isabella's presence was at it's strongest point here, there was no sign of her whatsoever.
Re: Runic
"Isabella!" He called, as he searched through the park, looking for the girl, and her captors, while following the orbs direction. When he got his hands on them, they were going to pay for what they did.

Re: Runic
James's efforts were fruitless. There was no sign of Isabella or any Runic activity, except for what the orb revealed.
A certain redhead and his partner was watching from a distance. "What a noob," Michael said, rolling his eyes. "He needs to calm down or just give up, or he'll never enter the barrier."
Rein sniffed the air. "I smell an acid trip," she said, her expression blank as ever.

Re: Runic
James paused, taking a deep breath, and tried to think. What am I doing wrong? He thought, before starring at the orb. What aren't you showing me?

Re: Runic
As James began to calm down, the scenery began to change, at least, for him. The leaves on the trees became pink and fluffy like cotton, and the stone path underneath him began to resemble rollercoaster tracks.
The hunter duo couldn't see the changes that James could see, but they could see him slowly fading away. "...He's got it."

Re: Runic
James eyes widened as he continued forward, letting the orb guide him. This was where they had taken Isabella, and if he hadn't calmed down, he wouldn't have had found it..

Re: Runic
James wasn't in the park anymore. Apparently he was high up in the sky, standing on a floating carousel, where falling probably meant certain death (it doesn't). The entire landscape has changed. Trees were replaced with giant cotton candy, the path was now a winding rollercoaster track, the ground was gone, and it was snowing. The entire area appeared to be enclosed in a giant glass dome.
There was a silver bubble floating in the middle of the dome. James could have felt Isabella's presence radiating from the bubble.
OOC: He might not get it the first time. Just saying.

Re: Runic
James followed the track, and the orb, and headed towards the silver bubble. Once he reached it, he took a deep breath, and tried to enter it, wondering if this would lead him to Isabella.

Re: Runic
The bubble split into two. One of bubbles floated away towards the edge of the dome and the other popped, releasing tiny little one-winged angel clowns that flew toward James and tried to pick him up, away from the track and the carousel. They then tried to stretch him, pulling his limbs in opposite directions.
Re: Runic
James bursted into flames, frying the tiny one-winged angel clowns. "Ok...anyone going to explain what just happened, or am I going to have to figure it out myself?" James asked allowed, mostly to himself.

Re: Runic
The angel clowns growled at James when he burned one of them, throwing him onto the carousel with great force. Three of them tried to gang up on him, while the remaining two flew out of sight, coming back with a really old, bulky TV. If James saw the screen before it was thrown at him, he would've seen a young man turning into the bull Runic from a while back.
Re: Runic
James threw a fire ball, destroying the TV, but not before catching the image. He quickly sat up, and began shooting fireballs at all of the clowns, trying to kill them.

Re: Runic
The clowns let out horrible cries as they burned. Even though they were annoyingly strong little buggers, they really couldn't take a hit. The silver bubble floated around the edge of the globe, still radiating Isabella's power.
Re: Runic
James slowly made his way toward it again, a little annoyed by the angel clown thing, but at least he was prepared if happened again. He took a deep breath, and entered the bubble again.

Re: Runic
The bubble split into three this time, one heading towards the rollercoaster and the other heading towards the carousel before popping. The remaining bubble floated up near the cotton candy tree things. There was a loud clanking noise as the rides turned on and went full speed, fast enough to send a normal person flying if they were on either of them. The angel clowns appeared in the car of the rollercoaster and on the horses in the carousel, throwing random electronics at James.
Re: Runic
James threw fireballs, destroying the electronic before they can hit him, he then threw a fireball at the spot on the tracks where he estimated the angels' cart would end up. Need to deal with these guys, fast.

Re: Runic
Some of the electronics landed near James, the ones with screens showing the same image: Isabella strapped to a chair with several knives sticking out of her.
The track began to burn, and when the car passed through the fire, the angels inside let out an ear-piercing screech as they burned to death. The remaining angels grabbed onto James and threw him into his own fire.

Re: Runic
James quickly stood up, gathering the fire up around him, the flames doing nothing to him, before he blasted it all straight at the freaks. "Damnit, do I really have to deal with you nuisances all day?"

Re: Runic
James managed to take quite a few of the angels down, however one flew up to the bubble and touched it, making it separate into six. The six bubbles floated to the edge of the dome before all but one of them popped, releasing even more angels. They then began to attack the glass, making the entire dome shake. The light snow was replaced by a harsh blizzard and the rollercoaster broke apart. The carousel floated upward, trapping the bubble behind the horses.
Re: Runic
"SHIT!" James shouted, firing fire balls at as many freaks as he could, as he made his way towards the last bubble, with great difficulty.

Re: Runic
As James got on the carousel to get to the bubble, it began to tilt until it was completely perpendicular to the ground. Many electronics slid down and off the edge. The bubble bumped around a bit before getting caught between two of the horses.
Re: Runic
James jumped into the air, using his flying technique to fly straight towards the bubble, while burning anything else that got near, including the angels, and their projectiles. He flew straight into the bubble, wondering what would happen next.

Re: Runic
The bubble didn't separate or pop this this time. James was teleported into a long hallway made of old, bulky TVs. All of them were turned on and had either static or the color test screen thing on it. There were no angels to fight or anything, just a large door at the end.
Re: Runic
James got up, and began walking towards the door, looking around the hallway as he did so, and was glad to be done with those freaks. With a deep breath, he steeped towards the door, and opened it.
