"WELL WHAT IF IT'S POISONOUS?!" Jane screamed into the phone. She had to find a way out. She looked at her front door, only to find it blocked by one of the machines. "Joey, I'm trapped! One of the machines is in front of my door!" Jane tried to shove it away, but it was too big and too heavy.

When the light flashed, her house disappeared. "Joey? JOEY?" she said into the phone, but she was met with the ring that happened when a call ended. Now Jane was in a forest. Her cell phone slipped from her hand and landed on the ground. "Hello?" she asked, her voice shaking in fear. "Anybody here?" she started running, not sure what to do.

Vayn paced his room for several minutes. He was worried about Jane. He sighed and sat back down, taking several deep breaths to calm himself.

XA: Jane...?

Jane soon came upon her own house, and was met by the kernelsprite, which proceeded to split, and leave only a single sprite with it.

Nearby, her phone began to ring.

Jane looked at the kernel sprite, and just stared at it, not sure what to do with it. She heard the phone ring, and went to the kitchen to pick it up. "He- Hello?" she asked, her voice shaking.

"Oh thank god, Jane, you're ok!" Joey said, relieved to see her, and was glad, cause now he could see her on the screen, near her house.

"Hello Jane." The sprite said to the girl.

"Joey!" Jane fell to the ground in relief, almost laughing, almost crying. "I'm in some forest or something!" she said.

The kernel sprite spoke. It said her name, and the phone dropped from her hand again. She was really afraid now. "Who-what- what are you?" she asked, her voice shaking.

"Just calm down Jane, we'll figure something out." Joey said, as he talked to the girl, trying to comfort her.

"When you prototyped the kernelsprite with the picture of you parents, it gained all the memories of your parents, up to the point the picture had been taken, I'm the current result, until you prototype me for the second, and last time." The sprite explained.

Jane couldn't hear Joey, her phone was on the ground and her hands were shaking too badly to pick it up. "What do you want?" she asked.

Amber swore under her breath as she tried to turn her computer on. Just before the count had reached 100% the computer crashed for some reason.

NV: Sorry about that guys, stupid laptop...
NV: What's been happening?

XA: Speaking of which, the server's done downloading...
XA: Do you want to enter now?

Vayn's nerves eased slightly. At least Jane was okay. He needed to get Joey in, maybe the two of them would be able to meet up.
Generally, being alone in a forest wasn't a good thing, but it was definitely preferable to being underneath a meteor.
