Joey smiled at the hug, hoping nothing bad would happen.

"Hello," Benji repeated quietly to everyone who said hi to him. Noticing that the villagers were giving Heidi deathglares, he frowned, shoving his hands in his pockets and approaching one of them. "Please don't look at Heidi like that. You look petty," he stated quietly, his eyes cold.

Heidi smiled. "Sorry to have been gone so long. We got rid of Tom's trigger, though."

But Benji's words fell on no ones ears, as all the villagers had left to go about their business awhile ago, as was said in the previous post concerning them.

"Really? That's great!" Erika exclaimed, happy that the man was no longer being haunted by Shima. "And you found your brother..."

OOC: Book, I'm sure some of their business involves being near the group. They're not going to completely abandon the area.

"Yeah, I thought he was..." Heidi shuddered slightly, before smiling. "That makes another playmate for Simon and Elena."

Benji scowled when everyone seemed to ignore him, wondering why Heidi put up with such immature and needy people.

One of the villagers sighed, as the kid was getting in the way of them doing their job. This kid had no manners.

Simon walked over to Benji and put his hand out for the boy to shake. "I'm Simon."

"Well, that adds another to the list. There have been a few more... additions to the village since you've been gone." Erika replied.

"Anyone I know?" Heidi asked interestedly.

Benji hesitantly shook Simon's hand. "Benji..." he mumbled, wondering if Simon was the same as all the other villagers and Heidi was just too stupid to see it. "Heidi talked about you a lot."

Nathan grinned to Jasmine. "It'll come in handy."

Kira pulled her jacket on, hesitantly leaving the forest and heading towards Nathan's Flow.

"Nice to meet you. And really?" Simon said.

"Well, Zackary, Sage, and Paul-"

"I'm not supposed to touch your skin," Benji stated, wondering why Simon thought he was lying.

Elena walked over to the two, resting her chin on Simon's shoulder. "Why am I awake, Simon? It's so early!" she moaned.

Heidi froze. "Paul? Where?!" she demanded, wanting to see her old friend again.

"Yeah, my Flow..." Simon jumped slightly at Elena before sighing. "It's not that early, Elena. The sun is up..."

"He's either on sentry duty or in his house." Erika told the woman.

"That doesn't mean it's not early..." Elena yawned, falling off Simon's shoulder and sprawling out on the ground, finally noticing Benji. "...Who're you?"

"I don't know where his house is!" Heidi groaned, bouncing on the balls of her feet anxiously.

"Right." Erika sighed, calling out to Elena... and sweat dropped when she saw her sprawled on the ground. "Elena, I'm going to show Heidi where someone is! Be nice!"

Erika turned to her husband. "I'll be back in a little while."


"That's Benji, Elena. Heidi's brother." Simon said.

"I'll come with." Joey said. "Paul's place is on the way to the fields, and I need to check in with them."

"And, you forgot me," Neo said a little distance back. "I'm insulted."

Zackary was near by, leaning on a wall. Sage...was still in her own house. People didn't seem to trust her out there...even though she hadn't done anything other than try to help.

Luke remained where he was, no longer rocking back and forth, but perched up against the wall beside his bed, knees drawn up close to his chest and wishing Kira would hurry back. No matter how much he mentally berated himself, he couldn't stop shaking. Only gradually did it begin to lessen.

Tom remained away from the group, not really having anyone to talk to beyond Simon. Even then, he didn't know the kid that well.

"How's it going, Tom?" Zackary asked as he walked up to the blind earth user. "Beena while."

"Has indeed, has indeed," Tom replied. "I'm doing quite well, actually, got my head fixed up there while I was gone. That fragment of Shima's all gone now."

"Awesome to hear that," Zackary said, patting him on the back. "Must feel good to be rid of him, after all these years."

"She kind of stopped me before I could finish." Erika deadpanned to Neo.

"Feels great. Got five years to catch up on now," Tom replied, grinning. "So how've you been? And where have you been, I s'pose?"

"Well, say I'm around first next time," Neo said with a shrug.

"Eh, been here and there, been to Japan. India. The states. Canada...did you know they don't have igloos or polar bears there anymore?" Zackary asked with a slight chuckle. "Also been back home...got bitched out by my twin sister."

"You have a twin sister? Yikes, can't imagine anybody related to you looking well," Tom replied jokingly. "You on your own or what?"
