Dangan folded his arms and surveyed the new recruits. His face was impassive. Seeing a Riolu his gaze fell still as he glanced the recruit up and down. Turning his attention back to Azel he nodded.

"Sounds helpful."

Ukashka ran up front so she could hang out with Azel, rather than the stupid recruits.

Azel promptly turned and walked briskly towards the door, not seeming to care if anyone followed him or not. He opened the small door leading out of the walled garden and into the outdoor corridor leading towards the main gates.

"Yo Ziggy, the gates!" he called, making opening gestures.

Kell followed along at the back of the crowd, while Ion ushered people who were reluctant to move forward.

Ziggy stopped his frantic pacing to stare at Azel. "Not until you call me by my real name!" he responded childishly.

Dangan sighed and after briefly using Agility knocked the lever to open the gate and then reappeared near Ion. All of this was done in the space of two seconds. None of the recruits would've seen it and only Azel and Ion would've caught a glimpse but even then they would've only seen a small blur of orange.

The gate seeming to magically open set Ziggy off. Sand started flying everywhere, and somewhere in the dust, an alarm started going off. "Intruder! Intruder!"

"Now you've done it..." Ukashka muttered.
