Isaiah bowed to the young woman, before turning, and leaving with the butler that had showed up.

The butler was currently thinking that the young Overlord is becoming every bit of a womanizer the previous Overlord had been.

Magnus entered Isaiah's study, holding a message in his hand with a poker face.

"Milord, the messenger has been found," he started.

"Complete surrender, and their princess is currently on her way here, under escort from our men naturally. Something about that being in the conditions," Magnus added with an arch look.

The Overlord nodded with his own poker face, before going deep in though for a few moments. The surrender was great news, the announcement of Mylos's victory would need to be sent out soon. The princess had been offered, to eventually become one of his consorts, as a way to gurantee better conditions for the newly conquered land.

Isaiah turned to the Field Marshal. "This is good to hear, I'll have to send out the annuncement of our victory...in the meantime, we should prepare for our new guest's arrival."

The Overlord thought for a moment. "...Spread word to you men, and have the messengers sent ou to every outpost in the nation...Our armies will be glad to hear of the news."

Stella was pleased to be on her way to the Capital of Mylos. The carriage ride had been long and boring, and then there was that stuffy escort from Mylos that she had to take along. She was curious about this new Overlord. He seemed like he knew a lot, which was why she even agreed to do this. Maybe, and hopefully, he'd be weak minded and easy to manipulate. But she had to find out first and plan accordingly.

She stuck her head out the window and called up to the driver. "Michael? How much longer am I going to be stuck in this stuffy old thing?"

"About an hour, your highness." he replied.

Stella sighed and came back into the carriage. She was ready to go.

Cheering spread throughout the capital, the news just having been announced to the public, as the servants of the palace began preperations for the princess's arrival, whil the Overlord himself was changing into more appropiate clothing. After finishing, he moved towards the entrance of the palace, right outside of which, the coach would stop.

"Princess?" Kyruna asked her brother. Zerez nodded and pointed at the carriage.

"She's in there. Apparently, she is going to be marrying the Overlord, or there is something else."

"...Oh..." Kyruna said and looked towards the carriage.

"For us, it's a hostage situation, aimed at her people a bit more submissive and agreeable. For them, it's an attempt to salvage something from their loss," Magnus replied from behind them, in armour with his sword belted at his side.

"I fought that nation for most of my life," Magnus replied, a slight growl in his voice. He didn't know why he was talking to these two about his thoughts, but they seemed like decent folk. "I lost my son to them. I know surrender is the best option, but this doesn't sit right with me."

The two both turned around to face the Field Marshal. Zerez was about to make a comment when...

"You had a son?" Kyruna asked.

"Like I said, hostage for us to ensure submission, an attempt for them to grab power by making one of their royals consort to the Overlord," Magnus explained, bitterly eyeing the carriage.
