Lesson 3: Magnolia's Steps in Roleplaying

The process of roleplaying can vary between sites, but you're on Magnolia right now, so we'll show you how we do it. You'll find it scattered around the site, and it is in order on the forum for your convenience. This lesson is arranged where you are NOT the GM, as we'll get to this later, once you have roleplaying down.

1. Interest Check There isn't going to be a full lesson on this, as it's really simple. You flip through the selection of interest checks we have up, find a good one, and say you're interested however you may choose.
   
2. Out of Character Here, you discuss the roleplay, post characters, and post ideas.
   
3. In Character This is the actual roleplay. Try not to post too much stuff that is out of character in here, it would take away from the plot, and can actually get a little bit confusing if you don't make it clear it isn't in character. We'll cover this later.

We'll go over each of these one by one (except for Interest Checks, that's simple.), in future lessons.
