Elliot and Jacob walked over and begin to set about helping Luke. Whilst Carly who was carrying Lucas made her way over as well.

She helped to set the Illuminati up so that they would be able to collect their food in an orderly fashion.

"Thank you for this..." She murmured to the boy who she'd once fought in the Acer tournament.

"Almost as bad as women." Nathan responded with a good natured grin. Even if darkness was going wrong he wouldn't let it take over again. He had too many people counting on him this time.

Luke gave her a brief smile, gently manipulating the heat with one hand as he began to add the spices to the mixture.

"We're all in this together, after all," he murmured, though deep down he felt like he had to make up for being such an asshole.

Nathan smiled genuinely at the girl in front of him. Too think, he'd never noticed her in the tournament. Although he had been completely ignorant to most people during his time there. At least to those who didn't get in his way.

"You really are," he repeated. He raised his right hand to her face and began to caress her cheek with his thumb. "I like the new look by the way. The natural you is just as beautiful as the look you created for yourself."

Carly nodded with a smile as she held the sleeping baby. She glanced over at Jacob who had created metal plates for Luke to put the food on.

"That's Lucas, right?" Luke asked over his shoulder as he stirred the mixture. It didn't take too long for it to be done, he had always found that it cooked rather quickly once the spices had been added. He looked back over his shoulder at the baby who had gotten his name from Luke himself. He idly hoped that the baby would never get the Darkness Flow and the effects it brought.

Carly nodded interestedly. "The one and only," she answered with a quick once over of the baby she held in her arms. Her thought pattern was much the same as Luke's.

From what Nathan had told them the baby had the exact same flow as his own. Which meant that he could absorb anything.

Kira glanced over at Lucas, shuddering slightly and inching a little closer to Luke. Despite the face that Nathan was improving, that Flow still scared her, and she could only hope that he didn't repeat the things Nathan had done.

Taking a deep breath, and shuddering slightly, she managed to squeak out, "I-If s-s-someo-o-one wants m-me to g-grow someth-thing...I-I c-can do th-that..." Despite her offer, she still looked rather terrified at the idea of anyone actually doing so.

Luke reached out and wrapped one arm around Kira, giving her a small hug to give her confidence. His new arm was actually strong again, without being so strong as to squeeze her accidentally. Plus, he was warm and he knew that made her feel better. His other hand doled out the food onto ye metal plates Jacob was making. He made sure to give Kira a serving, but didn't take himself.

"Glad to see he's looking healthy, I'm impressed at how well he's done in a world like this," Luke replied to Carly, keeping an eye on the food. He'd take what was left.

Kira blushed a little at Luke's action, though a small smile managed to find its way onto her face. She held onto her own serving rather tightly as she tried to calm her nerves, watching the food carefully as well. Hopefully there would be enough.

Sage's face heated up profusely at that. Gods alive, why was her face going so red at that moment! It was starting to get embarrasing.

Luke doled out the food, leaving a small bit in the pot. It was definitely enough for a portion, if not as big a portion as anyone else's. The portions themselves were quite small all around, as they only had so much food to go around quite a few people. Luke put the lid back on the metal pot, turning to Kira.

"I think I might save mine for later. I'll need to do serious training if I'm to get used to both my fixed body and my new powers in time for the battle, and it makes sense to keep something for afterwards rather than start on a full stomach," he explained, though it was hardly enough for a full stomach. He looked around at everyone, Illuminati or Acer village, that was in the surrounding area. At his present state, he couldn't hold a candle to them. This would have to change.

"If you need t-targets o-or something, I could h-help with th-that..." Kira offered. "I-If I'm g-going t-to help w-with defense, I-I guess I should train a-as well..." Training had never been her favorite activity. While she'd kept up with it while Luke and Nathan were still friends, it often ended in pain for her more so than for the other two. On the other hand, she didn't really want to be the weak one that everyone had to look out for anymore.

"Oh hell no, I wouldn't want to burn your targets. I know you don't like training, plus you shouldn't think you must hold your own with everyone else. That only leads to dissatisfaction with yourself, and that's both unnecessary for you and generally bad as a rule of thumb," Luke explained, jumping slightly and being rather firm. "I need to make use of the gift Nathan's given me. Not honing it would seem ungrateful, at least to me. That's why I'm doing it."

Kira glanced down at the food on her plate, biting her lip. Didn't Luke want to catch up with everyone else as well? She figured that he was just overlooking himself again. If she didn't compare herself with others, how was she supposed to know what she needed to improve? Still, she didn't want to start an argument with Luke, and simply nodded. "A-Alright..."

I know you can make decisions for yourself, I'm just offering you my angle," Luke amended as he scratched his head, realising he might be coming across as over-controlling, which he didn't want to be. "Though I still don't want to use your targets, just in case."

Kira shook her head. "I-It's fine..." she mumbled, glancing over at the pot. "I-I'll watch your f-food," she offered, hesitantly looking back up at Luke. There had to be some way she could make herself useful, and she didn't want someone running off with Luke's food, either.

Kira had walked back over to the pot, jumping in surprise when Luke started talking to her again. She turned back towards him, thinking back a bit, before nodding unsurely.
