Once back in the treehouse, Kira wrapped herself in the large, fluffy blanket she'd been half-hoping to share with Luke, and hid herself in a corner. A shield of vines wrapped around her as she shuddered.

After Heidi left Erika sighed and walked to where Nathan was still on the ground.

"Just because it was boring doesn't mean I don't have concern for the safety of others,"Paul snapped, "I don't see any of the 'Leaders' doing anything." He marched off to his house, blowing down the door and grabbing his usual travel stuff, writing down a note for Kaylee. "Besides, it's not like they want my help anyways. None of them have any damn sense. At least Heidi shoulda blinded the powerful one, took out the blood from his eyes. You can't just hit him with power, you need strategy! I've said this time and time again, just because you're powerful doesn't mean shit."
