Eithne bellowed in pain as he felt every bone in his left arm shatter. But he wasn't done, and with a snarl he pulled his right hand up, clamping down around Nathan's outstretched arm, a mad glint in his eyes. "Got'cha now, don't I?"

Without any warning, he suddenly discharged every last drop he had into the grounds surface, before bring it right back up in one massive explosion. The ground cracked and splintered as a pillar of deep red energy erupted into the sky as both combatants were engulfed by it.

It took a few moments for the attack to disperse, but when it did it showed Eithne and Nathan both still standing there in once piece, though both heavily burnt and bruised from the last attack. Eithne winced, realising his grip on Nathan and allowing him to stagger back, before lifting his chard foot and hammering it into Nathan's gut and blasting him back to the edge of the crater his last attack had made.

"Call it a draw," he spoke, totally spent of all his energy. Staggering away, he turned and headed for the crater's edge, and pulling himself out. "I didn't see any deceit in your eyes just now, but mark my words Nathan, if I find out that you knew that Shima had me under a trigger as well - I will kill you."

His part said, Eithne threw his jacket over his shoulders and pulled his sword from the ground, trying, and failing, not to hiss in agony at the strain from it. He honestly didn't know what to think anymore, he didn't know what part of his life in the past five years was his own anymore. What he did know however was that he needed to go home and find Amelia.

He wanted to know if his relationship with her was a mere fabrication of the trigger as well of if there was genuinely anything there.

Nathan got up and locked eyes with Eithne. Most of the Illuminati had gathered around their fight and the leader of the group's gaze never wavered as he looked at his once friend.

"A draw it is." He commented.

It was then however that a loud cough came from nearby. A tall man with jet black short hair stood before the group, he was dressed in an oddly smart way and he seemed to be surveying them all.

"Now that you've stopped doing our job for us... I would quite enjoy speaking to you." He announced calmly.

"Oh... me?" The man queried almost questioningly. His brown eyes took in every detail and he smirked. It was a know it all smirk. "I'm the messenger."

"As all of you no doubt know, there is a small force on it's way here who are under the control of the remnants of what many of you called the 'Big Five.' It'll take a week at most before they arrive to defeat you." The man carefully pulled out a scroll of parchment. He briefly scanned it before looking at the group, Nathan in particular.

"I have come to offer you all a choice."

Nathan clenched his teeth as he felt himself still beginning to heal. The Illuminati were beginning to cackle with power as they stared at the man, but Nathan already knew it was no good. He was a teleporter,,, and a damn powerful one at that.
