Melaney sighed. "Okay..." she disappeared in a cloud of black.

"We'll have to stop off with Eithne before we go get you healed, I need to ask him about some equipment." Nathan commented to Luke.

[Dobi Boshi]

Eithne sighed, perched atop his rock that he found near a little pond with his old sword buried in the ground behind him to act as a leaning post. Running a hand through his hair he stared out at the pond in front of him, occasionally trying to make a small pebble dance across its surface and failing miserably. He did always suck at it, though.

Did he know? He asked himself, brow creasing at the very thought as he decided just to throw his next pebble straight into the water in his rage. He wanted to scream at the moment, destroyed something, but it wouldn't do him anyway good, so he just sat there and stared at the pond, watching the ripples, finding it ironic on some level.

"Alright fine," Luke replied, eager to get it done with.

[Stabberz]

Nathan led the way towards Eithne with Luke following behind him.

It didn't take long and within five minutes they had come across the Scottish man. With a cough Nathan gave away their presence to try and get the man to turn around.

[Dobi Boshi]

"Fuck off, English," Eithne grunted, scowling to himself as he took a deep breath. There went his good mood.

[Stabberz]

"What the fuck's up your arse, Scotty?" Nathan asked, he'd only been gone roughly a month or so. "Was only going to ask if all the supplies in the medical centre were prepared to heal Luke?"

[Dobi Boshi]

"Not gonna fuck off, huh?" Eithne muttered to himself, well, if he wasn't going to leave he might as well get some answers. "Did you know? Wait, that's probably a stupid question, of course you would have known. Shima told you everything..." he asked back, still turned to the pair.

[Stabberz]

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Nathan spat. He was already growing increasingly unstable by darkness and getting verbally attacked by someone he'd considered a friend wasn't helping. "Know what?"

[Dobi Boshi]

"Don't play innocent with me," Eithne said back, pushing himself out of his sitting position, but he he made sure to keep his gaze on the pond so neither Luke or Nathan would see how angry he looked."Don't you think it's a little odd that I've taken so much crap these past few years?

"I mean, my only original priority was staying alive and getting to the next day - eventually I wanted to make sure Heidi and Simon also stayed alive. And yet, here I am, fighting some damn war for a dead man's cause that I never really believed in. I never planned on joining Shima's rebellion, I was there for the cure to my condition and then I was gonna get the hell out dodge. But here we are. Odd, don't you think..."

[Stabberz]

"You say all of this like I'm supposed to know everything?" Nathan asked with forced calm. He had been a bit suspicious of Eithne's loyalty... but he wasn't going to bring that up. "How about you just spit it out..."

"...before I beat it out of you." The last part wasn't meant to come out and the voice that had uttered it wasn't Nathan's. Hello king.

Luke remained silent. He didn't particularly give a shit about their issues, and really he just wanted Eithne to supply them with the necessary materials s he could get himself physically healed.

Tom made his way slowly over to them, acute ears listening in for Nathan's response. He had changed and showered, and had made it in time. When he heard what Nathan said, his face changed. He was losing control faster than expected.

[Dobi Boshi]

"What I really don't get though, is why release me now." Eithne pondered aloud, turning around, pulling his gigantic sword from the ground and lifting it to rest on his shoulder.

"Shima put a trigger on me too," he explained eyes narrowing, "the last thing I remember doing was taking to Shima one night 'bought five years ago. I was getting my shit together and gathering some supplies. Amelia had worked out a cure that was going to slow my condition to a crawl; so I was going to get her, Heidi and Simon out of there.

"Couldn't head back to the tower of course, but anywhere we could have set up shop would have done. No way in hell was I going to kill for Shima or fight his war for him. Yet, he said something to me just as I made to leave - Don't you want to watch over him and make sure he fulfills his duty? Next thing I know I wake up one morning a couple of days ago and I feel different: back in control. But I remember everything I did over the last few years now, but I don't remember like I was the one who did them, just that I was there for it, watching but unable to interfere.

"Do you have any idea how I feel right now? I've supposedly done stuff I'd never do. I pulled Tom's trigger! You and Shima made me do that! And I wanna know why! Did you get some sick and twisted amusement turning me into some sort of puppet, huh? What point is there to restoring my control now? And worst of all... you slept with my girlfriend you back stabbing bastard!"

Nathan frowned. "I never knew anything about a trigger!" He spat angrily as he heard Eithne's responses. He clenched his fist at the accusations. He'd only just started getting past everyone blaming him for all of their problems.

"I never made you pull Tom's fucking trigger, he was beating me and I was just about to go Skeleton when you fucking said it." He yelled back at his friend. Seeing him pick up his sword caused Nathan to rest his hand on the handle of his own as his Instant Aptitude eyes began to survey Eithne, analysing every microscopic detail.

"As for Amelia... it takes two to tango..." He said coldly. He wouldn't excuse himself for what happened. But he wasn't the only one to blame.

[Dobi Boshi]

"I told you not to play innocent with me!" Eithne snarled, his grip tightening around his swords hilt as he started transferring energy from his own body and into the swords blade. "I've spent the last five years of my life as your mindless drone, loyal to the last second, and when I finally come too...

"I'll speak with Amelia later," he added, addressing the accusation, "but that doesn't change one little fact does it? Why does the kid get to be yours, huh? Why did you get to be the farther of Amelia's child when I'm the one that loves her? Answer, because karma's a bitch. So know this English; I'm done with you, I wash my hands of you once and for all. We are no longer allies, let alone friends as far as I'm concerned."

[Stabberz]

"I'm not playing innocent with you stubborn wanker!" Nathan spat angrily at the person who was now a former friend. He was beginning to gather his own flow and the air was getting noticeable colder.

Hearing Eithne's comment draw a dark look to Nathan's eyes. "Why does the kid get to be mine?" He asked almost rhetorically his anger seemingly gone. "Simple. I'm better than you you pathetic twat. Maybe if that weren't true then you wouldn't have had a trigger place on you."

With that Nathan turned his back on his former Scottish ally. His infamous anger was at boiling point now. It wouldn't take much for him to explode.

[Dobi Boshi]

"Better than me?" Eithne gave a mad laugh, shaking his head, "This coming from the little bastard that used to be obsessed with power and that praying on those weaker than him proved that he was strong. Didn't realise that you still tried to demean others so that you can feel good about yourself."

Running his free hand through his hair, Eithne turned his back on them and began walking away. "You might think you have power now, that you have some cause worth fighting for - that you're the second coming. But truth is, you're not Nathan. You're just the same little punk that lived in the tower with illusions of grandeur - because deep down, it's scares you shitless just how weak a human-being you are. You've always been week in that department and that will never change. Later,"

[Stabberz]

"This coming from the former paedophile turned kidnapper?" Nathan spat back at Eithne's first comment. However it was then that he heard the comment about being weak.

Nathan let out a feral snarl and vanished. Barely a second later and he swung his ice laced sword down towards the Scottish man's face. No one got to call him weak. Not after everything he had done for them all.

A feral laugh echoed around his head accompanied by images of Eithne dead at Nathan's feet. The adult was finally beginning to lose control.

"Oh joy," Tom muttered, cracking his fingers. He'd let Eithne take care of it first. Didn't want to annoy the Scot more than he already had been.

[Dobi Boshi]

Eithne sighed to himself, casually using his kineticly charged step to get around behind Nathan with lazy ease. This is no fun, without Super Speed I can easily out pace him, and if he switches to speed I have the power advantage over him. Nathan still took a moment or two to switch powers, and in that window he could easily decimate him - or at least that was the case if he recalled right.

"You still fall for the same stupid taunts, English," the Scot sighed, shaking his head as he lifted a foot and planted it in Nathan's back between his shoulders, blasting him into the pond without even trying. "See what I mean? You're still a child how can't let a comment about weakness slide."

Nathan smirked as he froze the pond easily. Eithne really was underestimating him, again. Lightning began to cackle dangerously around Nathan. Even Eithne couldn't dodge anything that came at him at the speed of light.

With a slash of his long sword an arc of crimson red lightning cracked into existence and sprung at Eithne.

As he unleashed his attack, Nathan used Super Speed to follow the lightning and prepare another similar arc if necessary.

[Dobi Boshi]

"You really think you're hot shit, huh?" Eithne murmured, unimpressed as swung his blade down, the discharged wave of kinetic energy meeting the lightning head on, the two attacks cancelling one another out in a massive explosion that pried apart the surrounding area, throwing up a smoke cloud as dirt and rock tumble from the sky.

Jumping back, he distanced himself from Nathan who had appeared where he was once in a flurry of Super Speed. Scowling, he buried his sword in the ground again, hanging his old red jacket up on as to avoid damaging it as best he could. Taking a deep breath, he slammed his feet into the ground, sinking into one of his old battle stances, deep red kinetic energy visibly dancing off of his clenched fists.

"I've put you down before - don't make me waste time doing it a second time."

[Big Uri]

Luke hobbled away, trying to put an extra bit of distance between him and the battle. How unlucky had he gotten?

[Stabberz]

"You barely managed to beat me last time, and I commanded barely a quarter of the power I command now." Nathan corrected the anger at being called weak not lasting long. Instead a cold fury seemed to have taken hold.

The three men gathered around him had seen this all before and everyone of them would be able to sense the tinge of despair that had befallen his flow output. He stabbed his own sword into the ground and he got into a battle stance of his own his irises beginning to turn black.

He wouldn't give into darkness just yet though, one handed turned an icy blue colour whilst the other began to cackle with red lightning.

"Just tell me something Eithne... if Amelia was really happy with you... what made her turn to me?" He asked dangerously. "You can't be that bad in the sack."

[Dobi Boshi]

"You talk like you're the only one who's gotten stronger over time," Eithne snorted, though he did eye the fact he was using two powers at once carefully. He sure couldn't do that last time they fought.

"In all honestly I don't remember," Eithne grunted out after a moment, hanging his head, "my memory is still pretty foggy about certain things; might have had a fight or a rough patch or something. I... just don't know. But you do,"
