I was the one with the dislocated arm and fucking cut on my face, and I still had to tell him to get her the fuck out of there! Challenges, you know what he did? He would only help her when it was convenient for him. I have risked my life for her. Erika is my fucking teammate, and I'm going to see her, even if the two of you pipsqueaks are going to stand in my way!" Heidi snarled, anger filling her voice as she tried to focus on not blowing up everyone's head.

When Paul tapped her shoulder, she whirled around. "What?!" she demanded, before her gaze softened. "...At least I didn't bring the damn gun."

Luke deftly took out a knife from his belt, spinning it 180 degrees on the flat of his hand and cutting the sausages loose from their chain, placing each individual one on a wire grill he had taken from the storage shed in the village. It was new, and he was glad he had got it, even if it was just a precaution.

Elena blinked, staring at Simon, before quickly standing up. "Erika!" she cried out happily, running around the house, looking for her.

Heidi stopped after a while, letting out a bloodcurdling scream and curling up into a sobbing ball. Paul was right. It wasn't Joey's fault, it was her's. She fucked up everything she touched, after all.
