Both Sage and Zackary moved out of the way of the gorilla, while Zackary drew his blade, letting the green glow encoat it. He slashed through the air, in an attempt to use the air crescent move from the tournament to cut the gorilla thing.

"I'll take it this thing isn't trying to give me a good hug." Zackary mumbled.

The Gorilla merely raised it's lava coated arm and blocked the wind blade. It turned to face Zackary and let out a roar. The tree's around him seemed to melt and erupt in an explosion of lava that rose above Zackary to fall down on him.

Nathan was back to back with Zackary in seconds, with a fluctuation of his hand he frozen the lava solid before it could fall on Zackary and himself.

"You're welcome to try and hug it." He responded before looking at Sage who had lava falling towards her as well. More ice spun out and stopped it before it could hurt her.

"Stay sharp, both of you!" he ordered his irises spinning around as he stared at the beast which was barrelling towards Zackary with it's arms pointed in front of it.

"I'm good, I don't need a hug." Zackary said, getting ready to roll out of the way of the gorilla. He readied his blade again.

Elena looked up at the sky as it started to rain, frowning slightly. "Simon, it's raining," she announced, pointing upwards.

Paul nodded. "You like this one then? Want to try it out?" He motioned to a training dummy a few feet away. The poor thing seemed to be covered in slashes and holes.

Heidi shrugged, before darting up to the dummy and stabbing it in the chest. Knives she could work with. Guns, not so much.

"I don't know who Melaney is, and I've only seen Sage like once," Luke replied, trying not to focus on him and Nathan back in the tournament.

"Melaney was Sage's teammate... I think Sage was upset that she couldn't help you, so she and Melaney looked out for me a lot during the challenges..." Kira tried to explain, before frowning. "I don't know if I ever properly thanked them... I guess I'll have to do that when we go into town again. I think they're both living there."

Paul chuckled. "There's a small hoop on the guard of the knife," he explained, "That goes on the barrel."

"Okay..." Heidi muttered in concentration, slipping the hoop onto the barrel. "Now what?"

"Maybe we should drop back by the village once the rain lets up. I suppose I need to talk to Tom as well..." Kira frowned, peering out of the shelter to look at the sky and try to determine how late it was.

"What's the weather like?" Luke asked, wondering if the rain was stopping. He didn't want to go near the edge in case he got rained on.

"I figure if you won't shoot at things for a distance you might as well have a close up gun," Paul shrugged, "It's pump action, so you have to pump it before it'll shoot, so you don't have to worry about accidentally shooting someone if your finger slips."
