Kira smiled weakly. "It'll be good to have you around for winter...I usually just stay inside."

"Same," Luke replied. He'd usually hole up somewhere if it was wet where he was for winter.

"I guess it won't be too bad this year if we're together," Kira smiled. She hated winter, but it might not be too bad with Luke around.

"Yeah, should be fine," Luke replied. He could keep the place warm, anyway.

Nathan kept on pushing him through the forest. His gaze was dead centred in front of him.

Sighing, Zack and Sage followed after him.

"You're not allowed to make a campfire in the treehouse, though," Kira told Luke, only half joking.

Paul shrugged. "Well you don't have to shoot it if you don't want to," Paul told her, "I could just get you a training dummy and you can practice fighting with it."

Heidi sighed; she just wanted to go home and be left alone. "I don't care."

Paul shrugged. "You get to keep that, okay?"

"Alright. Thanks, I guess," Heidi muttered.

"Hey, later I'll get you some flowers," Paul smiled.

"Awwww," Luke replied jokingly.

Heidi's face flushed for a second before it disappeared. "...Th-They better smell good," she muttered embarrassedly after a moment.

"Well, maybe if we have a kitchen by then, you can light one there," Kira giggled.

Nathan's eyes widened as he felt a sudden influx of flow, he could sense the overpowering pressure of the source the same as Zackary and Sage could. However what they would've have felt was the extra flow.

Tree's were flattened to the floor as out of nowhere as a massive gorilla like creature barrelled towards the two. It's body seemed to be coated in moss, and it had what looked like thick bits of wood sticking out at odd angles. The parts of its body that weren't covered in moss like fur looked like thick gnarled wood. In terms of size it must have been about twelve feet tall.

It's eyes grew yellow and dead in between them was a single spike of hard wood that acted as a horn. In contrast, it's arms looked like lava, secreting magma .

The course it was on had it heading directly for Zack and Sage.

"Well we'll probably need someplace indoor to cook for the winter, cos' it might be too wet outside for a fire," Luke nodded wisely.

"I guess we'll have to ask Tom for help again... A wooden kitchen doesn't seem like a good idea," Kira mused aloud. The idea of anything in the forest catching on fire that shouldn't frightened her a lot.

"They'll be the best flowers I can get you," Paul told her, "Now come on, you need to pick out a bayonet." He winked.

Heidi nodded slightly, still rather embarrassed. Stupid Paul, being all nice and shit. "Alright..."

"Yeah, he's usually pretty easygoing about that stuff," Luke replied, figuring that if he hadn't asked for payment for the bath he wouldn't for bits of the house.

Paul led Heidi to a shelf displaying several different kinds of large knives. "Pick your favorite.

Kira nodded, smiling. "Tom's a good person."

Heidi picked up a decent sized blade, lifting it experimentally, before handing it to Paul. "Here."

"Yeah, only talked to him like twice in the tournament so I don't know him that well. He helped me train a bit though, so I like him well enough," Luke replied, shrugging.

"I didn't talk to anyone too much... Well, Sage and Melaney helped me out a lot after you and Nathan...um..." Kira trailed off.
