Nathan shrugged. "Maybe... but meh, let's go, we've got to trek into the middle of the jungle, we'll neutralise anyone who spots us."

"And then we'll go to the tower, or whatever?" Zackary asked, stretching.

[Stabberz]

"That city is the tower... the just knocked it down and built the rest." Nathan responded to Zackary. "We're going for something much more important, which I'll explain when we get there, just be prepared for a fight."

[Ra The BlazeWingPhoenix]

"Would be nice to know what exactly I'm fighting for. I don't want to have either you, or Sage die, and me not know for what," Zackary responded, unsheathing his sword.

"We're fighting to find one of seven parts of the pure essence of flow, which we'll be destroying." Nathan responded. "It'll be guarded, so that's why we'll need to fight."

"And, by destroying it, what will happen." Zackary asked him.

[Stabberz]

"We'll be gaining a victory against the last of the Big Five." Nathan answered.

"What else," Zackary asked, casting a glance back at Nathan. "I want to know exactly what this flow thing does."

[Stabberz]

"We'll be one step closer to changing the world." Nathan answered.

[Ra The BlazeWingPhoenix]

"Changing it in what way, Nathan." Zackary asked again. "Again, what does this thing do. Why does it need to be destroyed." Andw hat are your motives...?

[Stabberz]

"I'm not sure in what way." Nathan answered simply. A lie, but no one needed to know that. "All I know is that the Big Five are doing everything to protect them, as for what it does it takes in flow and secretes it."

"Nathan, I can tell you are lying about in what way." Zackary's eyes narrowed. "I want answers."

"It'll do one of two things." Nathan said calmly. "Remove flow completely and perhaps undo what the storm did, or remove most flow in the world and transport us through time." This time he was lying convincingly. It could also end the world... but Nathan hadn't even told Tom that. Hell not even Shima knew that.

"I don't believe you. But for now. You're walking a thin wire with me," Zackary said glancing down into the forest. "Let's move."

Nathan nodded and began leading the way, his sensing prowess coming in handy in searching for the source.

Sage followed silently, while Zackary silently glared at the back of Nathan's head.

They made their way through the forest, quickly and effectively. Only one guard was encountered, but Nathan had dealt with him before Zackary or Sage could even make a move.

He had an increasingly darker frown on his face. The amount of raw flow that the source produced could prompt Darkness to gain control again.

"Sage, stay further back," Zackary said quietly to the magic girl, who was confused.

Luke peered at the lake, wondering if, as Kira had asked, the temperature of the water made a difference to whether he could stand it.

Kira was looking up at the sky, watching as a few clouds slowly rolled in off the horizon.

Elena frowned, looking back and forth between Simon and Emma. "I dunno what we should do," she stated, looking mainly to Simon to come up with something. He was smart.

"Well we could go look at the market that other group set up." Simon suggested.

"Other group?" Emma asked.

"Okay! That sounds like fun!" Elena smiled, before frowning in confusion. "What do they use as money?"

Turning to Emma, she nodded. "Didn't you see the gigantic building?"

"Oh... I just thought if was one of you guys' friends."
