Elena walked into the kitchen, finally noticing the note Simon had left on the table for her. "Oh," she mumbled, getting her food out of the fridge and turning to Emma. "Are you hungry, too?"

"Nothing too interesting," Elena admitted, which was pretty much the truth. Since Erika's disappearance, she'd spent most of her time by the door, waiting for her to come home, even if it was stupid. She didn't know what else to do. "At least I haven't."

Zackary and Sage both let Nathan do the talking, mainly, Sage wouldn't be able to do that and Zackary prefered to not let them think he was in charge.

"The supply garrison just went out?" One of the guards responded suspiciously.

"Orders from up top, we've been sent to help get more supplies... apparently we're running low?" Nathan called back his body tensing.

"Shouldn't you be with the others though?" The other guard's partner asked as he jumped down from the battlements.

"Blame my partner's here, they were too busy doing the dirty..." Nathan responded.

This drew smirks from the guards. "Ain't that cute." One of them said before opening the gates. "Make sure to keep 'em separated when you're out collecting." The guard said.

Nathan nodded and laughed good naturedly. "Are you kidding?" He asked. "I want my turn."

Both guards laughed and let the group pass, everything seemed to be going fine until one of them slapped Sage's butt perversely. "Maybe when you're done, I'll have a turn."

Next time, I'm doing the talking... Zackary mentally groaned. As Sage tensed up when her butt was slapped. Oh, how badly she wanted to hit him back, with her staff...to his crotch.

"Thank you very much for making me sound like a whore," Sage said once they were out of hearing range.
