Heidi momentarily wondered what Paul was plotting, before walking into the guest room and curling up on the bed in there rather than her own.

Heidi stood up, marching back out to the kitchen. "Kaylee won't stop harassing me..." she muttered, sitting down and slumping forward onto the table. Maybe she'd just sleep here.

Luke put one arm around Kira, feeling vaguely thankful towards Nathan. He'd put him in a state, and Luke wasn't sure he could ever forgive him for that, but he'd also helped him find Kira again, and had given him Flow back. Sure he still wasn't on Luke's good side, since he was the bastard that had taken away so much from him, but Luke was finally beginning to respect that the guy was on the path to atonement.
