Kira started walking out of the forest, towards where she could sense a lot of aquatic plants.

They soon reached the lake, Luke looking out at it. It was nice, but he was careful to keep his distance.

"Lovely day today, isn't it?" he commented idly as he set up the picnic.

Kira nodded, stepping closer to the lake. "There's some fish in here... Maybe sometime we could have grilled fish," she stated, before adding with a nervous laugh as she turned back towards Luke, "You'd have to gut them, though...I can't..."

"Yeah, I can do that," Luke replied. He'd done it before, but he'd never caught them. "But... I can't catch them, since I don't want to touch the water."

Kira's smile softened slightly as she spread out the blanket. "Let's go find some firewood, then."

Kira nodded, walking towards the more wooded area around the lake, starting to pick up some twigs and dry leaves for tinder.

Luke picked up a few dry branches, his heat drying out most of the things he picked up.

Luke judged a safe distance away from the lake and looked to see how strong the wind was. If was strong enough he'd probably be better off moving into a more sheltered area.

The wind wasn't too bad, only enough to send ripples across the lake.

Kira frowned when she didn't see Luke, setting the tinder down under the blanket in case the wind picked up, and walking into the wooded area. "Luke?" she called, using the plants to search for her old teammate.

Luke made the pile of firewood how he wanted, snapping his fingers to light it. When he was satisfied with the fire he left it be, looking over to Kira.

"Could you get a pot of water for the noodles please?" he asked politely.

"Uh, yeah, sorry!" Kira stammered a bit, picking up the pot and filling it up with some water from the lake. Probably not the most sanitary thing, but whatever. Nothing was too sanitary any more.

Luckily the lake water was quite clear, and Luke stuck it on the fire, putting in the noodles and getting the tomato sauce in hand for when it was meant to go in. He'd grown more used to cooking in the past two months. The forest was a much better standard of living than what he'd been used to.

"Want me to make some toast while we're waiting?" he offered happily. His power was useful for more than just attacking people, he had found since the tournament.

OoC: He just thinks cleaner water is better, he tends to distance himself from water in general.

Luke got some bread from their supplies, and gently toasted a couple of slices in his hand. Then he passed some over to Kira, keeping one for himself.

"No problem," Luke replied. He quite enjoyed cooking, though he hadn't done much of it in his time. Mostly he stayed in his cramped little bunker, venturing out for snacks.
