"Starve," Luke answered honestly. And probably kill himself, he decided against adding. He was on the verge of it quite a few times during his five-year travels.

Kira laughed quietly to herself, coming back with some various seeds. "All set, let's go find something for you to wear."

[Big Uri]

"Yep. Let's find that other shed," Luke replied. He had a vague memory of where it was.

Kira smiled, grabbing Luke's hand. "Um...which way was it?"

[Big Uri]

"That way," Luke pointed at the direction he thought it was in. There was as much a chance of him being wrong as there was of him being right.

"Okay!" Kira chirped happily, walking in the direction Luke had pointed.

By some miracle, Luke had been right, and he mentally congratulated himself on his fluke as they approached the shed.

"Okay, I'll wait outside," Kira told Luke. Despite the news, today wasn't all that bad of a day.

"Alright," Luke nodded, going inside and searching for something his size.

Kira leaned against the side of the building, looking down at her own rather plain dress. She wished she had something nicer to wear, before shaking her head. At least her clothes were in good condition, even if they were plain.

Luke came out eventually in a long-sleeved red check shirt, making sure it covered his burn marks and scars as much as it could. On the the bottom half he wore a pair of well-worn jeans.

"Understandably, there wasn't a whole lot of selection, but these'll be fine," he nodded, happy enough with his new clothes. It wasn't like they were his only pair, either.

Kira smiled, applauding. "Very handsome!" she praised, though she wondered why he'd picked out a long sleeve shirt while summer was on the way.

"Thanks," Luke replied, his not-burnt half going a bit red. At least the sleeves kept his burnt arm out of sight.

"Time to go home?" Kira asked, trying not to show her eagerness to get out of here. She wasn't feeling too claustrophobic, but she still didn't like it here.

[Big Uri]

"Yep," Luke nodded.

Kira intertwined her fingers with Luke's. "Let's go, then!"

"Alrighty then," Luke nodded, holding her hand back and leading her eagerly towards the village gates. He much preferred the forest, even if it was a bit...flammable.

"Did you two find whatever it was ya needed?" Neo seemed to be at the gates still.

"We should go on a picnic today for lunch!" Kira chattered on a bit. "There's a lake near here, and we don't have to go in the water, but I bet it's really pretty-" She stopped talking upon seeing Neo. "Um...y-yeah...thank y-you..."

"Yeah, sure," Luke nodded happily, giving Neo a thumbs up. "Yeah, everything, thanks."

Kira squeezed Luke's hand, waving goodbye to Neo. "Th-Thank you again..." she mumbled as she continued walking.

"Welcome. Come back anytime," Neo said, giving a wave to the two. "I'll be happy to help ya out."

"Cheers," Luke called over his shoulder, the hand holding Kira's swinging happily as he did. "Let's go to the lake, eh?"

Kira nodded, smiling. "Yeah, let's."

Luke carried on, again half-humming, half-singing to himself absentmindedly as they walked through the forest. Almost as an indication of him being in another place, fairies, dragons and griffins appeared high above their heads, flitting around on the air but careful not to set anything alight.
