As the days continued to pass, the temperature continued to rise. The occasional drizzle became less and less, a clear blue blanketing the skies daily.

Despite Neo's encouragement, Heidi had slowly become more and more of a recluse, getting to the point where she only left for food. This morning, she was currently sleeping on the couch.

Benji, on the other hand, had been doing his best to stay far away from the others. He was currently sitting on top of Heidi's house, looking around the town.

Kira was curled up on the ground, still asleep. When the days had started to get warmer, she'd taken to sleeping outside.

Elena was asleep by the door. She'd taken to spending her days waiting for Erika to come back.

Tom was never a heavy sleeper, and was already sitting on a chair he had pulled from the wreckage of an aeroplane long ago and had towed along with him. Now he had towed it up on someone's roof in the middle of the town, and spent most of his days observing the pitter patter of feet all across the town, creating a shelter over his head to make it like a sniper's nest.

Now he was contemplating how to bring Heidi back out of her shell.

Luke was wrapped in a blanket, the skinny man looking decidedly scarecrow-like, asleep slumped against a tree. He still talked in his sleep and tossed and turned, but it was slowly improving.

Kira slowly started to wake up, looking over at Luke. With a small sigh, she stood up, gently patting his head in an attempt to get him to calm down. At least he wasn't too bad anymore...

Nathan frowned as he looked at a nearby village. It was massive, bigger than both the Illuminati's and the Acer's combined. He could see guards with guns at the entrances, children and adults.

They'd have to pass through to get to the nearby jungle that the village was on the edge of. He had no doubt that those that he was fighting against were in the village, probably in higher up positions.

He didn't like their chances in a fight.

"I don't like guns," Zackary said from beside Nathan. "With enough time, I can divert the path of the bullet, but I won't get enough time for more than one. What kind do you see?"

Sage stood back, leaning on her staff.

"Nothing much to perv on with Heidi nowadays, I'd say," Neo said, before jumping up onto the roof and landing near Tom. "Planning on getting her outta that there house someday, be her knight in shining...clothes...?"

"Semi-automatic's mainly. A couple of fully automatic guns. It's the flows I'm more worried about. High powered fire and lightning manipulation there." Nathan responded.

"We'll go in as merchants. Sage if you could magic up a cart, some random stuff to sell and maybe make the three of us look different than that would be great. Also, I hope the two of you can mask your flow's and make them appear weaker."

He was frowning again. This was going to be difficult.

Luke obeyed, bleary eyes looking a bit younger as they opened sleepily.

"M-morning?" his half-asleep mouth managed.

"I wouldn't know," the blind man replied. "I'm trying to think. You've got history, maybe you'd know. I'm her friend, but I've never been good at helping her mentally."

Sage nodded, and closed her eyes to imagine the words, before muttering them quietly.

"I can mask mine. Sage can't." Zackary stated as the cart appeared behind Sage with a few supplies, and the three of them looking different.

"I'm not that good with this sorta thing there," Neo sighed, scratching his head. "I'm thinking of dragging her out kicking and screaming, or something...I just really don't know anymore."

Nathan summoned a small horse with seemingly no flow pressure. "Hmm... well there's no malice in her flow nor will they sense much danger from it. We should be fine."

Kira laughed to herself, returning a few minutes later with the usual basket of fruit. "I need to start planting for fall..." she mused aloud. "Maybe we can go into the village today and see if they have any spare seeds..."
