"My grandma- well, not my real one, obviously. She and Waiyuan helped my mom out a lot. They were in that one picture," Kira explained.

"Oh, they were okay. My dad was a bit of a dick, my mom was a bit stupid a lot of the times but she had our best interests at time. Bit strict, I guess. My big brother was really funny, but he was a bum. Wanted to be a musician, lived off unemployment. My sister was the opposite, bit of a nerd, studying engineering. My other siblings..." Luke trailed off sadly, gulping.

Kira nodded slightly, though she suspected Luke was lying to her, or at least partially. Scars like that took a long time to fade, longer than a few years. She didn't want to bring this up again, though. "I still believe in you, so don't worry," she stated firmly. Luke was better now.

Heidi smiled weakly, patting Simon on the head. "Keep an eye out for Benji. He's a good kid..." she told him, before walking outside and focusing on looking for Flows.

Kira smiled widely at him, squeezing his hand affectionately. "Let's stay up and watch the stars again tonight," she grinned. "There's lots of shooting stars in the summer."
