Nathan nodded and darkness tore the cloak into pieces.

"We'll travel by air so it's even quicker." He said calmly. "Plus with Zackary's ability we can have a favourable wind."

"It also makes it easier for me to drop you," Zackary mused as Sage nodded.

Kira nodded reluctantly, the barrier dissolving, before she slumped forward, sound asleep. It had been a long night.

"Looks like I'll be trusting you then..." Nathan responded with a smirk to Zackary.

He pointed his hand upwards and three lights burst forth and explode.

When the flash had died down, three massive eagles stood perched in front of them. "We'll be flying them."

Luke kept her warm, glad she had listened to reason. He sent a spark out of the window and up into the sky, erupting into a fiery 'Better?'.

"Is that really such a good idea, my friend?" Zackary asked glancing at the eagle.

"C-cool..." Sage said.

"I'm sure things'll be fine." Nathan responded with a grin before noticing the spark.

He shot a large ice cube into the air so that Luke could see his response.

"A lot of trust to put onto me," Zackary mused, before shooting a look that reminded Nathan of what he had promised.

Nathan returned with a look of acknowledgement. "I figure that you'll want to make sure Sage is safe as well."

"And, making sure you keep your word," Zackary said, while Sage looked between the two, quite confused.

"Also. You just HAD to bring my sister here, didn't you."

"Trust me... I'll keep my word." Nathan said as calmly as his darkness afflicted mind would allow him.

"And meh, where else was I supposed to take her. She was in a village that was completely wiped destroyed with everyone but her killed..."

"Your village? I'm amazed this village hasn't been torn down by her yet," Zackary said, hopping onto the bird.

"I'd figure saving your sister and bringing her to you might earn me some brownie points." He said with a shrug as he too jumped onto his bird.

"We're not on good terms, Nathan, we never were," Zackary responded. "I could care less if she died."

Sage climbed up onto her bird.

Elena blinked awake, looking around for Simon. Her stomach didn't feel good, she'd have to find Erika. She always seemed to know what to do about these kinds of things.

Nathan nodded. "In that case I apologise." Nathan said calmly. "Anyway's lets get going. We've got three week's of flying to take care of."

"Three weeks of straight flying?" Sage asked.

Simon was asleep in the small couch outside in the 'living' room.

"We'll be taking rest stops but yeah, once that's done we'll have to pass through a village and then into a crystal cave." Nathan said calmly.

Elena finally found him, momentarily wondering how the heck she'd woken up before him. "Simon...?" she murmured, trying to shake him awake.

"Okay!" Sage said wiht a nod.

No longer able to sense Erika, Joey became worried, and ran until he found the twins. "Hey...have either of you seen Erika?"

"No." Al shook his head. "And we can't sense her either..."

Joey frowned. "Damnit..." He muttered to himself. "...Where is she?"
