"Of course I'm right!" Kira frowned pulling away slightly from Luke so he could see her upset face. "You're strong, because, after what Nathan did to you, you still came back here, despite the memories of the tournament. You've survived five years crippled and with a broken Flow, and you fought off a dragon! You...You comfort me even when you're upset! Who cares if you're a-a little burnt? I think, no, I know you're one of the strongest people ever!"

Luke gave her a hopeful looking smile, which turned into one of real happiness when he saw she was genuine. He pulled her back into a hug, a tear in the corner of his burnt eye. A nasty voice in his mind reminded him that he was weaker than pretty much everyone in the surrounding mile or so, or at least the adults.

Timothy quickly had a time bubble form around Andrea, slowing her fall. He failed to protect himself against the spikes, one stabbing his shoulder and another going right through his stomach.

The earth shot out at the two of them like a wave, aiming to completely encapsulate them in earth to stop them from moving and breathing into they passed out.

Luke nodded head beside hers.

"I know, but that Flow made the memories come back, and I felt so..." he trailed off, righting himself. "I'm better now."

Heidi sighed, hugging Paul back. "Maybe, though this hell's a helluva lot better th'n th' tournament." She paused for a second, before looking up at him. "Do you have th' w-watch on you...?"

Kira smiled. "That's good," she responded, pulling away slightly to smile reassuringly at Luke. "You may n-not be the storybook Prince Charming, but I don't think I'd b-be able to stand you if you were. Even if you're afraid of some Flow, it just means that y-you're human, and you have flaws, like everyone else... That's wh-why you're perfect t-to me..." she started mumbling towards the end, blushing slightly.

Luke's eyes widened slightly, one burnt, one normal, both pale blue. Then he hugged her tightly.

"You're perfect to me too!" he exclaimed. He found it difficult to say what he wanted to say himself, so when Kira summed what he felt up he was quick to say that that was what he wanted to say, even if he felt unoriginal.

Tom cursed, pulling Andrea back to the surface, and finally closing the hole.

"Something like that. You know me Jay, gotta be on your toes to keep up with me," the usually stoic man replied with a grin, though he was annoyed Timothy got away.

"I have not fought since the tournament, so I may have been rusty," Jayden said, before sliding down into the hole. "However...we do have a problem. This woman, is one of the leaders...for the other village. I would say, she has been dead for two or more days."

Heidi hesitantly reached over, taking it from Paul. "Th-This is really important... Ade's...Ade's body is dead, but she keeps it going w-with her soul in this watch... So, something b-bad probably happened to her if it's this far away, 'cuz they said they saw her in the mountains, and a-as long as we keep the watch s-safe, then Ade'll be okay...she'll be okay..." she mumbled, blinking back tears again, opening the watch hesitantly.

Kira giggled when Luke hugged her tightly. "I...I can't breathe, Luke!" she laughed, trying to get him to loosen his grip just a little. She liked it when Luke hugged her.
