Kira walked back in with a basket of fruit, noticing Luke. She set the basket down, walking over to him and wrapping an arm around him.

Jamie went over, and picked up Josephine's broken body. The others, were unable to be buried, they were in far too many pieces.

"Along the way, I wish to bury her." Jamie simply stated.

No, he had to pretend to be strong for Kira. However much of a weakling he was, he wasn't allowed to be weak. Keep his thoughts private, don't bother anyone with his troubles. Luke snapped back to reality.
