"Hm. Seems like we have some visitors," the masked man from before muttered, before pressing a button on his watch. A surge of Flow was released into the mountains.
A young woman appeared next to him, wearing a mask that covered her mouth and nose. "...I get to fight again?"
The man shrugged. "I guess so."

"There," he replied, seeing what was on the earth in that area. "Too easy. As soon as we go looking for them, they release Flow? It's a trap, they want to be found."

There was a simple campsite in that area. Not too far from it was a deep hole, with someone either unconscious or dead stuck in it.

Josephine looked up, only to see a huge fucking pillar of god-knows-what shoot up into the sky. "What the hell...?" she muttered aloud, wondering for a bit if she should get closer and investigate. No, that thing was probably dangerous.

"Everyone hide!" she shouted, trying to control the panicking people of the village. It didn't work very well.

"Yes, hide," Jamie said as she stepped out beside Josephine. A Naginata in hand. "If it is a enemy, then they will easily slaughter those hiding. Evacuate them, I say."

The darkness soon died down to reveal Nathan stood haggardly. He was facing the village. Only... it wasn't Nathan. The skin was about five shades paler and there was no face. Instead a pure black mask with slits for eyes covered Nathan's face.

From out of his trench coat sprouted black skeletal wings and his hands were coated in black clawed gloves.

A wave of despair washed over the area with tinges of it reaching the mountain where Tom and Jayden were. But the core of it was crashing down on the village.

Without a single warning "Nathan" moved and was stood in front of the gate. Seemingly moving out of the shadows. With arms still by his side a darkness tendril as thick as a lorry tore through the village's gate and splintered the ground around him.

Shouldn't have locked me up King... I'm going to kill them all now!

"Oh, well then do tell me what happens," Jamie responded in her ever calm voice.

Hearing the gates crash, Jamie looked ahead to see her enemy. "Darkness...of course..." she mumbled under her breath, and readied the Naginata.

"Fucking goddammit all to hell-" Josephine continued on her string of curses, running towards the gate with her bat raised. It had taken them far to long to build this village, and then some asshole had to come and destroy it?

A few unfortunate people had tried to come at "Nathan" but as soon as they were in his line of sight their shadows had risen up and grown into deformed shadow wolves. These wolves had torn them apart and then gone into different parts of the village, blowing up housing and hiding places.

Any form of life that was nearby was torn up and completely destroyed.

Josephine hissed, jumping back a good distance, before ducking behind a building, shaking slightly. So much bloodshed...she wasn't used to this. They were all going to die.

Jamie just stayed where she was. She was trying to analyze her opponent's moves...wolves, darkness?

She couldn't see his eyes, that would make this far more difficult.

Once "Nathan" had gotten a sufficient distance into the village he stopped and the despair that reigned down on the village intensified by ten fold. Nathan's own Illuminati village as well as the Acer Village could probably feel traces of it by now.

And then in a flash of darkness, Nathan's fifty foot skeleton came into existence. All of its hands split into tendrils that were as thick as rockets and each and every tendril smashed into the earth destroying everything in their path.

Anything with any life force in it at all was attacked by smaller tendrils that aimed to rip the flesh and splatter blood everywhere. Children, women, men. It made no difference.

Jamie quickly swung at a tendril that came at her, cleaving it in half with the blade, swinging it back to catch another one.

A giant skeleton as well...this is troublesome.

Josephine screamed in pain, a tendril ripping off her arm as she had tried to pull a child out of the way. Needless to say, the kid was dead, splattered against the ground. She swallowed her pride, running away from the darkness. She needed to escape, she needed to escape. Tears streamed down her face from the pain of losing her arm, the fear of the darkness and of the blood everywhere. She tried to stop the bleeding with her free hand as she ran away.

Kira froze, waking up and holding Luke's hand tighter as she felt despair wash over her. Why was Nathan doing this?

Heidi looked up, feeling the despair wash over her, before flipping the bird at the ceiling and walking off to find some leftover alcohol to drown her sorrows in.

The tendrils soon covered their way throughout the entire village killing every single life form there was and reducing everything to rubble. Only two people were still alive.

One was swatted into a wall by a tendril and the other was pierced through the stomach.

Josephine gagged, feeling the tendril go through her stomach. Her vision was starting to go dark from the blood loss. She looked over, trying to see if Jaime was okay.

The tendril ripped through bone and flesh as it left Josephine barely alive. The skeleton melted away and a couple of seconds later "Nathan" appeared out of a nearby shadow right in front of the girl.

Not even breathing could be heard from inside the mask as the figure craned its head towards Josephine.

Josephine clenched her bat tightly in the one hand she had left, staring up defiantly at the monster, despite the tears on her face. She could barely see it, but it was certainly there. She opened her mouth to speak, struggling to remain breathing, though no words came out, just some blood.
