"Yeah!" Heidi called back to Paul, before nodding at Neo. "I'll keep an eye open."

Seeing Simon walk out, she moved towards him, pulling him into a hug. "Are you okay?" she asked.

Heidi opened her mouth to snap at Paul, before looking a bit sadly at Simon. "Okay," she responded, before letting go of him and walking to Paul.

Simon tried to give Heidi a reassuring smile as she went to Paul, before making his own way back to the Hadden's. When far enough away from the Church he took out Heidi's knife once more, staring at the blade, then looking up into the sky. Will I shed blood with this blade again? God... please no.

Nathan had left Kira's as soon as the medic had got there and was now walking past Sage's house to find her. Seeing Melaney he made his way over.

"Hi... have you seen Sage?"

Elena was still asleep when Simon walked into the house. She had, however, moved from the bed to the table, her half eaten breakfast pushed to the side.

Kira sighed as Nathan left so quickly. He needed to relax and take his time every once in a while. Spotting the unfamiliar face of the medic, however, started to frighten her, and her breathing quickly became erratic as she made sure to stay far away from him.

Heidi stepped outside, looking at Paul. "What do you guys need...?" she asked, before gesturing to the boy. "I'm sorry, but I'm not a miracle worker..."

Melaney looked at Nathan, a flicker of rare anger passing her face. "Y-yeah...b-but w-we need t-t-to talk..." she stuttered, trying to muster her courage.

Heidi shrugged. "'Course I can do that," she responded, glowing red with Flow to clot the bullet wounds. "Done, but it's just a temporary fix, unless the bullets didn't hit any vital organs or anything."

"Hopefully it'll keep him together until we can fix him up," Paul nodded, "Thanks for the help...sorry if I was disturbing you or something, but the watch is safe. I'll make sure it gets hidden until we can figure this out."

Heidi nodded slightly. "Yeah, I'm sorry too, just... Benji attacked Simon, and Simon stabbed him, so I'm...yeah," she shook her head, sighing. "Thanks, Paul, about the watch."

Kira's eyes flickered over to Luke. "H-He's...He's gonna h-help?" she confirmed meekly, hugging her knees in the corner of her bed.

"I had my own problems to deal with!" Nathan responded coldly. "That and I still had to help Tom adjust and sort Heidi out. I'm not a miracle worker."

The woman sighed, lightly tugging on the dagger merged with her hand. Relax, he'll be okay... The beads should've helped him, unless he used the wrong ones...
