"I'll put some anti-infection on once we get back...here, chew on this leaf, and then get some rest. You'll feel better by tomorrow," Sage said, handing the person a leaf.

Melaney nodded, her shadows retracting around her body and rising up a little around her legs, as if she were standing in a mist.

Two figures made their way to the village, led by a spirit. They appeared to be coming from the mountains.

Paul blinked at the figures. "Um, hello there..."

One of the figures, a young woman with a prosthetic arm, stepped forward. "Let us in," she said.
Behind her was a little boy with an awfully dull expression. He wore a mask that covered most of his forehead and the left side of his face.

Paul raised an eyebrow as one of the villagers who was helping his stepped up next to him. "Who are you?"

Sage moved onto another, and then another sick patient, telling them the exact same thing she told the first one.

"We don't have time for an introduction," the woman hissed. "Just let us-"
She was interrupted when the little boy behind her fell limply, several bullet wounds suddenly appearing on his chest. She spun around, pulled out a dagger, and pressed it against her non-prosthetic hand, making it merge with her skin. "Goddamn time stop," she muttered.

Paul blinked at the boy, who suddenly grew bullet holes. "Right, get Heidi," Paul told the man he was with, who saluted and ran off to find Heidi. Paul himself walked up to the duo. "We'll get you help, but what happened to him?"

"Time stop," the woman said. "We were being chased... A girl in the mountains helped us, told us about this village." She pulled something out of her pocket. "She also asked us to keep this safe." She held up the pocket watch for Paul to see.

Paul looked at the pocket watch. "Here, let me see it..."

Heidi ran towards the gates, quickly spotting the pocket watch and the wounded boy. She hissed, speeding up. "Give me the watch!"

Simon had left the house and started performing his usual duties around the village.

Paul turned to face Heidi, blinking with surprise. "That was fast."

Soon enough, Sage was done, and sighed in relief.

"Finished...they should all be alright."

Benji stepped in front of him, an upset look on his face. "Can I...talk to you?" he asked, fidgeting slightly.

"It helped to see the watch, hand it over," Heidi responded, her voice urgent as she held out her hand.

"Yay..." Melaney mumbled.

"Huh? Oh, sure." Simon said, blinking a little in confusion.

"About Heidi," Benji explained quickly, before glancing around the village. "But not here."

"Heidi?" Simon changed into giving the boy full attention. "I know a place."

The black haired boy led Benji to a tree on the outskirts of the village.

"How many years have you known her?" Benji asked, his hands in his pockets as they approached the tree. This was perfect.

"Five years." Simon replied.

OOC: Simon still has Heidi's knife.

"Huh," Benji frowned, his tone turning cold as his hand glowing green and he knocked Simon against the tree. "Y'think she would've tried to find me instead of hanging around some replacement."

Simon felt the wind get knocked out of him as he was slammed agaisnt the tree. "R-r-replacement?"

Benji held him against the tree, anger in his eyes. "We could've been friends, Simon, but you took Heidi away from me. She's my family, not yours!"
