"No Nathan." Joey said, in a perfectly calm voice that completely contradicted hwo he was currently feeling. "You just threatened the entire village."

"Until last night, when Zackary pointed it out to me, I had no idea about the traps that were harming Sage." Joey said, his fists tightening at the memory of learning that people were harming one of his villagers. "I was in the middle of searching for those who have been doing this, when you made your annoncement just now, so that I may punish them, cause no one, gets away with harming any of my villagers!" He said.

Nathan was seething. "Stop acting like you're the fucking messiah of all these people. Get your head screwed on properly!" He said to Joey his voice getting quieter as tension boiled within him like a coiled snake "First and foremost they're not your villagers, they're more like your fucking disciples."

"Second, it isn't just Sage. It's happened to Kira and Luke. It happened to Paul and Zackary and it even happened to Heidi!" He spat again forcing himself to remain calm.

"Third and finally. Who the hell do you think you are Joey. No one can stand you, none of your so called friends. No one from the tournament actually gives two shits about you other than your wife. And she has to. You've spent too long grooming your villagers to act as stuck up and big headed as you that you've lost sight of what really matters."

"You act like my Illuminati are all bad, but when it comes down to it we're a family and we treat each other as such. No one gets shunned there and no one gets treated like a freak." Nathan paused to stop himself before he worked himself up even more.

Heidi sighed, shoving her hands in her pockets as she walked towards the commotion. Her hair kept blowing in her face as she realized she'd left her hair tie at Paul's. Damn.

Kira smiled, happy that she made Luke happy. "S-So what does th-this make us...?" she asked, unsure whether she was dating Luke now, or this was just a proclamation of feelings, and Luke was going to move on with his life and get out of here by next week.

Joey opened his mouth to respond, but stopped, his anger slowly began to fade as he sighed. "...Maybe your right...maybe this is all my fault." He said.

"Honestly, this is the first time I've heard anything concerning Luke and Kira, so I wouldn't kow what was going on there..." Joey said. "I knew what was going on with Heidi, but I just thought they were upset that she had left in the first lace, and would get ver it in a couple days...I had to have Zackary tell me, when one of my villagers were hurting Sage."

I'm so obsessed with keeping this place functioning, I've started to become blind to my villagers behaviour.

At some point during that, Sage had walked off. She hated watching people argue, while she couldn't do anything about it.

She walked to the edge of the forest, and just sat down. Hoping that she wasn't in Kira's zone.

Nathan hadn't expected Joey to calm down but without additional anger fuelling him, Nathan was able to calm down.

"Be that as it may, I'm not going to be staying here anymore." He said calmly. "I was going to stay with Sage." he added as an explanation.

Looking around at everyone gathered he shrugged. "Anyone who fancies joining a village where we look out for each other and don't treat our own like trash can come to the Illuminati village with me.

Tom was thinking 'keep going and you might save this situation', and also that Joey might be a lot better off if he admitted the reason he didn't help Heidi was because he didn't like her and not because of any lie he made up.

"Oh," Kira blushed, though she was smiling happily at the thought. She stiffened slightly upon feeling someone at the outskirts of the forest, though she figured it was okay, since it was just the outskirts, after all.

"You weren't ever meant to be the leader." Nathan said upon hearing Joey's comment. "Back in the days when we were at odds with each other, the leaders were Heidi, Erika and Ade. As time's gone on things have changed and you've had to step up and do a job you were never meant to do."
