Sage felt her cheeks heat up as she stared down at the cup. "I...wouldn't know...I don't remember how I looked back then other than what I changed..."

"Joey," Zackary said, folding his arms. "If Nathan is there. Talking to Sage. After last night..." He slightly winced at the memory. I'm not one to judge friends based on who they're friends with. he quickly reminded himself. "Would you want to go near Nathan, just to try and set up something for her?"

"Actually let me rephrase. Since you already know Nathan's level of power. Would you want to try and piss him off completely, and have him try to destroy this whole village just to find you?"

"I meant looking for the ones who have been doing this." Joey said. "They haven't just been guarding her house the whole time."

Joey then sighed. "Tell them I said to leave the rest to you, and they should return to their normal duties."

"It's...well...I don't think it's all of them...but those who are...usually just have a bucket of rocks set up to dump on whoever...comes out of the door," Sage said, pointing at the door, and then the bucket. "I guess, they didn't reset it since they figured the bucket wouldn't be destroyed..." she finished sadly. "It's all because of my ability..."

Seeing Sage's sadness caused Nathan to scowl and quickly get up. "I'll be right back." He said before quickly exiting. He formed a platform of ice and leapt onto it.

"NEO!" he yelled, knowing the adult would hear him. "I want you to broadcast what I'm about to say so that everyone in the village can hear me!"

Nathan immediately flared his flow and rained despair down upon the entire village, his flow fraught with malice. "I know you can all hear this, so listen well. The despair you're feeling is a result of my flow. My name is Nathan Stanton, all of you will have heard of me and some of you probably even fear me."

"For years I was treated as a bad guy and yet here you are treating one of your own like shit. From today onward, if anyone so much as looks at Sage, the girl who can use magic, in the wrong way, I will personally track them down and make them regret the day they were ever fucking born."

"You have been warned, none of your leaders will be able to stop me and trust me if this continues you'll wish you were dead."
