Jasmine turned to Mel, quickly trying to put a smile up. "Oh, hey Mel~"

Luke made his way at home, having forgotten to bring his stick since he was drunk. He had to lean on buildings as he moved, and the wounds on his mangled leg reopened, leaving a trail of blood behind him as he went.

"I knew you were a good person~" Sage grinned and tried to hug him. "People've been trying to hurt me, cause I can do anything just by saying a few words. I've kept it quiet though, cause that's the sort of person I am."

"I got the sudden feeling that Sage is definattly drunk..." Zackary muttered to himself.

"Hey, something wrong?" Melaney asked.

"L-Luke?" Kira whimpered, finally seeing her old teammate. "I can't find the forest."

"Oh...I'm just worried about Nate..." She said, a sad frown forming on her face. "He's been acting really deppressed for awhile, I thought he'd be a bit beter after the trip, but..."

Pain had sobered Luke up, and he put his arm around Kira to point her in the direction of the forest.

"Home's this way," he murmured.

Nathan's fist clenched. "People in the village have been hurting you?" He a cold air coming off of him. "If I catch anyone doing it they'll wish they'd never been born!"

"You know... if it got to much... you could come stay in my village."

"I'm sure he's okay now," Melaney told her.

"It's alright though, it's nothing serious," Sage said, before thinking about his offer. "Really!?" Her cheeks had turned a little pink.

"Yeah, all though soon I'll be making a big big big big big castle for all of us to live in so we're protected!" Nathan said with a childish smile and he stuck his tongue out.

"Yeah, thanks to Sage...but I can't help but wory sometimes." Jasmine said.

Melaney shrugged.

"I've always wanted to live in a castle!~" Sage squeeled, bringing her hands together. "Ever since I was a little girl! My mommy would tell me stories of princess'! And, and magic, and brave knights who would rescue them from big mean dragons and other monsters!"

Her eyes were sparkling at that thought.

"But I guess it's natural..." Jasmine said, taking another sip. "We Illuminati are pretty much family..."

Kira nodded, keeping close to Luke, quietly crying. While she had whole heartedly agreed with everything Nathan had said about her, but was she really just an object to be tossed around? That hurt.

Nathan smiled at Sage. "Well you can be the Princess who does magic. And I'll be your own personal knight, because I killed a monster a month ago."

He smiled. "I can even Summon a horse for me to ride."

"It's alright Kira," Luke soothed wearily. "I'm here for you. Let's get you home, eh?"

Sage completely blushed, smiling up at Nathan. "Alright! So...what else is there to do at the party?"

"We can drink some more... and then maybe you can hug me to keep me warm?" Nathan said with some blush of his own. "Plus most of the people at the party don't hate me, so it'll be nice to be around friends."

Kira nodded again, seeming to calm down a bit when they stepped foot in the forest a few minutes later.

"Alright!" Sage giggled again, covering her mouth as she did so.

Luke helped her until they were at the treehouse.

"Feeling a bit better now?" he asked, with a tired smile.

Simon led them to the open kitchen. A few villagers and kids were hanging around but didn't move to speak to them as they went to the small pantry.
