Nathan smirked as he saw Luke kiss Sage. "Hey, Luke!?" He yelled getting the Irish Teen's attention. "You want the rest of my fag as well? You seem to like going for things that I've already had!" His drunk mind didn't really think about the effects of what he was saying.

Sage giggled at Melaney's face before hearing Nathan, she looked up at him.

"Fine..." Heidi groaned, rolling away from Paul and curling up next to her pile of empty beer cans.

Kira leaned against Luke, feeling a pang of jealousy when he kissed Sage. "I love you the mostest," she declared firmly, holding onto his shirt.

Upon hearing Nathan, she scowled, marching over to him and slapping him across the face. "You selfish bastard! Just stay away from us!" she screamed at him, blinking back tears. She didn't want to be just an object.

Elena was singing a song about pizza as they walked.

Benji sighed from his hiding spot. No way was he going near the party, nor was he going near his replacement and the idiot.

Nathan merely looked up at her and raised an eyebrow. "Make-up your mind, Kira. I'm not the only one in this little trio being selfish. You can't keep us both around and not expect one of us to remain bitter about it."

He stood up in a way that looked threatening but all he did was grab another drink and place a second cigarette in his mouth before turning and walking out of the door.

Paul shook his head and picked Heidi up. "I'm taking Heidi somewhere she won't be sleeping in beer," he said, "I'll be back eventually, so just have you fun and don't worry about cleaning up."

That stung. How could Nathan say that? She knew she was a selfish, horrible person, even if Luke had said she wasn't. She wanted them both to be happy, and she wanted to be happy.

Kira let out a small sob, before realizing Nathan still had her jacket. She ran out the door after him, stumbling a bit. "Give it back!"

Nathan frowned when he heard her and ripped the jacket from his shoulders and threw it. He used darkness to catch it out of the air and hand it to her. He knew she hated Darkness and it was insensitive but he was drunk and pissed off.

"Sage!?" Nathan called back turning around with a scared look. "You shouldn't be around me, you're beautiful, you're nice to talk to and you seem like an amazing person. But... I'm not good for people to be around."

Kira screamed when Nathan tore the jacket, snatching it away from the darkness. "My...My mom gave this to me, you...you..." she trembled, clutching the jacket possessively. Various plants started growing around her, obviously not controlled at all.

"Just look at what I've done to Kira..." Nathan trailed off, his powers uncontrollable when drunk causing the full weight of Empathy to bear down on him. "I had something good, and I hurt her and made her hate me... I... I... I'm just not good.

"See..." He said with a gesture at Kira.

Sage started to mutter under her breath, her circle appearing underneath her. Her wording in Latin was to attempt to fix the jacket.

"You're...trying..." Sage said to him.
