"Yet the fact that you're needing to calm yourself says otherwise." Nathan noted with a shrug before sensing Tom.

"You're right, you're doing a fantastic job with Erika and Kira," the big man grunted. The earth made a path for him to the roof. It was almost subconscious for him at that stage.

"I need to calm myself, because your very being is irritating me," Zackary responded and opened one eye. "Good day, Tom."

[Stabberz]

"Bite me, Tom." Nathan returned good naturedly. He noticed the bottle and smirked. "Whiskey, eh?"

"I'm not perfect," Tom muttered, nodding to Zackary and sitting down, making himself a spot.

"Chuck it this way, been awhile since I've had anythin' half decent." Nathan responded. He waved his hand and the shadows on the roof formed into a throne like chair for him.

"It's starting to get crowded up here," Zackary mumbled as he pushed himself to his feet, gathering the wind around his feet to leap into the air.

"I finished it," Tom replied, showing him the two bottles Tom had drank dry. "The gem worked, even if only somewhat. I thought you might want to know."

"Worked on you?" Nathan queried, he knew it worked on Luke. Noticing Zackary leaving he smirked. "Leaving so soon?"

"I don't like large crowds," Zackary said. "The saying goes, three's a crowd."

"And four's a party... so all we need is one more."

[Big Uri]

"Well I wasn't sure if you thought it was broken since the kid still can't use his Flow. I don't know what you know, just thought I'd tell you that there should be nothing wrong with him, even if he never will be as good as he could have been."

Kira nodded absentmindedly, finally locating Luke's extra shirt and turning around to give it to him, seeing the large scar across his chest and freezing. Another pang of guilt shot through her, she should have worked harder to fix him.

"I don't see the point in being bothered by you any further," Zackary said before jumping off.

[Big Uri]

Luke took the shirt, eager to cover up his rather gruesome body. Aside from the obvious mark where he had been impaled with a katana, there was also blackened flesh from the burning he had suffered from the Rebound Effect. He was glad she couldn't see his leg.

"I know that much." Nathan responded with a nod. "He's got what he wanted though. He has his flow back albeit not as strong as it could have been and he's got the girl."

"Not sure how good your flow sensing is. But both his and Kira's flows are near enough intertwined at the moment and they're aflame with emotion." His last point came out slightly bitterly but he shrugged it off.

"They always are. Doesn't mean either of 'em can spit it out," Tom replied, his Flow sensing abilities have been cultivated rather well due to his lack of sight.

Heidi frowned, looking up at the roof and spotting Tom and Nathan, along with some bottles. "Oi, Tombo, gimme a lift!" she called up, being too lazy to scale up to the roof on her own.

Kira bit her lip, looking down at the ground. "I-I should have tried h-harder... I-I c-could have f-fixed you up better..." she murmured guiltily.

"It would have taken a miracle worker. I was so mentally upset that I could've roasted you if you had, too, and that would have been worse than anything," Luke replied reassuringly.

Tom obliged, the earth rising to bring Heidi up.

Kira nodded disbelievingly, before sneezing again. It seemed she still hadn't gotten over her cold.

Heidi swiped up the two bottles, quickly realizing they were both empty. "Well, damn," she scowled, putting them back on the roof.

"Meh." Nathan muttered before glancing around at the village. "I'm considering constructing a stronghold of sorts, battlements, a castle, places to hide and basically a place for us to defend from when the enemy arrives."

"But I'm leaving within the next two days so I won't be able to oversee it... if you're not going to be joining me on the trip, whilst I'm gone can you begin stockpiling sturdy earth blocks the insides of which could be crystal. Jacob is already doing it with metal."

"Hopefully I can find something that'll bolster flow and then all I'll need is for Joey to use his ability whilst I direct him with telepathy and then it'll be sorted."

"You want me to make it warmer?" Luke asked kindly.

"I do have more drink than a litre and a half of whiskey," Tom pointed out. "Just saving it for a good mood. Should never drink when you're upset."

"I could sort out a stronghold for you, no bother. Only raised a mountain for you last time, even if that wasn't really me. Who are you bringing with you next time?"

"No idea." Nathan shrugged. "Might go alone to give me chance to think and maybe try and get control of Empathy."

Hearing the alcohol comment he smirked. "Getting drunk wouldn't be a bad idea..."

"There still a party?" He asked Heidi.

"Yeah, there's booze hidden somewhere around the village. Neo's hunting it down, or at least he was. Said he was gonna throw me a welcome back party, but I wouldn't doubt he just wants an excuse to get wasted," Heidi laughed, before nodding to Nathan. "There is unless Neo's drinking all the alcohol in some back alley."
