"H-He took c-care of me..." Kira protested weakly. Like Luke's hatred towards Nathan, she'd been clinging to her own self-hatred for years. "I-I was d-down th-there f-for t-two weeks, a-and who kn-knows how long I-I was unconscious!"

"And how did those... scumbags get in?" Luke asked, the information not making sense in his head if Miguel was such a good guy.

"With her Flow? Your Flow can make anything?" Benji asked, tilting his head curiously. That would be a fun Flow to have, it seemed.

"Now now, Kaylee...I can't make everything I can't bring humans back to life, or create life..." Sage corrected, with a little chuckle.

"That's the only way it made sense," Luke replied sadly. "You see Kira, no one's perfect. Nobody. Admittedly, people like you come a lot closer than me, but remember that. Everyone... Very few people didn't have a hard time after the storm."

Kira frowned slightly at this, looking up at Luke. "I...I think you're perfect... M-Maybe not i-in the traditional s-sense, b-but..." she murmured, her face turning rather pink as she realized what she was saying.

"Well you can make things," Kaylee giggled.

"R-really?" Luke asked, his eyes going a bit wide and happy, though he couldn't help but wondering what the traditional sense was. "I can't imagine anyone more perfect than you."

It was horribly cheesy, yes, but Luke wasn't good socially. It took a monumental effort to spit those words out, his courage almost failing him.

"Of course...if my blessing works," Sage responded and then looked over at Benji.

"Course not." Nathan said, noting the winds picking up. "But the only other way the two of us can sort out our problems is through fighting, and I'm not doing that in the village."

"You could always just simply leave me alone," Zackary offered, still not bothering to open his eyes.

"Where's the fun in that?" Nathan responded simply. He was sat casually with his back turned on Zackary as he watched villagers go about their evening jobs.

Kira blushed, smiling slightly. How was it that Luke saying she was perfect made all the sadness, fear, and guilt go away. She remained silent for a second, before speaking rather slowly. "L-Luke, I...I th-think I..." she murmured, suddenly finding herself unable to look him in the eye.

"You have problems with your power?" Benji asked, frowning slightly.

"That I don't kick your sorry ass in front of everyone," Zackary responded to the man. "And, that you're not worth my time."

"For the past two years..." Sage answered. "Or...three now...My birthday was a while ago...I thought it would fix itself on that day...but nothing...I also get hurt by it..." Sage showed her hands that had been once cut, and then forcibly closed by Paul.

"I... think I do, too," Luke replied after a second, albeit extremely awkwardly.

"Shut up, Zackary." Nathan said almost as if he couldn't be bothered. "You're not strong enough to beat me, no matter what Sage enhanced personality complexes you have stored in your brain."

"Did the same little birdy that told you that, also tell you how to dress today?" Zackary asked.

Adeline was in the graveyard, standing in the middle of her barrier. She looked up into the sky, frowning. Something smells bad...

"Nah, that was from my own creative licence." Nathan answered. "Unlike some I can come up with ideas that don't scream bandaged nomad."

"No wonder you look hidious," Zackary responded.

"And yet I can still pull more women than you Zack."

Tom made his way over to Zackary and Nathan, glad he was back in the village and didn't have to mask as he finished his second bottle of whiskey.

Kira nodded, before realizing she'd been crying into Luke's shoulder, getting him wet. She jumped back, stammering an apology, before scrambling around, looking for Luke's extra shirt. "I-I forgot a-a-about th-the water!"

Benji's frown deepened upon seeing Sage's hands. "I'm sorry, that must hurt..."

"It's fine, it's not bad," Luke smiled ruefully, stripping off the shirt and looking around for his spare.

"One. The name is Zackary. Two. I really don't care." Zackary stated, taking a breath to relax himself slightly.
