Luke tried to make something big, but his Flow just flared out of control again, creating a large and fiery explosion in front of him instead of what he'd wanted. He was slumped against a boulder, unable to move because he'd incinerated his walking stick and cursing his reliance on other people. His hair fell into his eyes and down his stubbled cheeks as he thought, his head hanging down because he was exhausted.

Do I even want to fight any more? Where did it ever get me?

Kira jumped when she heard the explosion, turning to look at the cliff in the distance. It was just Luke, no crazy bombers. This only reassured her slightly, as now she was afraid that Luke's Flow was going to hurt him. Concerning Luke, she wasn't even sure what was going on, and had assumed that it was good. Maybe I should check on him...?

She wasn't sure if it was safe to go near him yet, though, and she didn't want to blow up...well, she didn't have to get too close. Just enough to make sure he was okay.

With some sort of determination set in her head, she started walking towards the cliff, hoping her friend was alright.

Luke tried to expand his concentration to lots of little things, but it appeared he still had a bit of a mental block when it came to using his Flow. Instead he amused himself by making a few flying things, like dragons or phoenixes or other mythical creatures, all flying around in intricate loops but never actually touching.

Kira approached the cliff, being sure to stop a good distance away from Luke in case he flared up. She remained silent for a moment, mesmerized by the mythical creatures, before shaking her head to clear it and raising her voice. "L-Luke? A-Are you..." she paused her to sneeze. "...okay...?"

"...Okay might be a bit of a stretch, but I suppose I am better," Luke replied, his voice a bit harsh, his concentration on keeping the things flying, making them soar farther into the sky so they wouldn't have any risk of burning Kira.

Nathan allowed Kira to walk off alone before turning to Tom. "If she comes back, tell her I've gone to sort some stuff out." He said before blurring into action.

Kira backed up another couple yards. "Th-That's good... I...I th-thought i-in the f-forest th-that...th-that...and I d-didn't know wh-when you'd b-be stable e-e-enough, a-and I h-heard the explosion a-a-and...a-and..." she rambled on a bit, her voice shaky.

"Alright," Tom replied, his hand going to scratch his shaggy mane of a haircut. "What a mess..."

"I'm stable enough, but I'm still crippled and I... can't use his gift. I'm healed alright, I'm just too... I don't know. I don't know. Don't know how to use my Flow like I should, what to think of Nathan. Spent years just hating and hating, don't know how to cope. Too much. Too much," Luke replied, rambling on, as much to the air as anyone.

"I-It's okay th-that you d-don't know how to use y-y-your Flow anymore...y-you haven't really u-used it since th-the t-tourn-na-ment. Five y-years is a long t-time..." Kira said, sitting down on the ground. A vine grew near him, wrapping around his shoulders in Kira's attempt to comfort her friend. "And a-as for N-Nathan... I c-can't tell y-you how t-to think of h-him... I th-think he's becoming m-more like N-Nathan, our friend, than N-Nathan, o-our enemy..."

OOC: Kira has an odd way of coping with things. :L In her head, there's three different Nathans, her friend, her enemy, and the real one. That's how she changes her opinion of him so quickly, it's as easy as changing who he really is.

"It's like a hole. But instead of the usual holes that are for love, it's for hate, and I want to fill it, I just don't how," Luke tried to explained. Words had never been his strong point.

"Well th-then fill it with love!" Kira frowned. "St-Stop worrying about Nathan a-and just be h-happy. M-Maybe someday w-we can all b-be friends again."

"Yeah. Yeah, I think I'd like that," Luke replied, before lapsing into silence. "Kira, I don't want to fight any more. Ever again."

Kira fell quiet as well, trying to figure out how to put her thoughts into words. "Fighting...i-it's not always bad... I-I mean, there are l-lots of different t-types of fighting, i-it's not just physical... A-And i-if you don't fight f-for what you want, h-how can you say you want i-it?" She paused, sneezing again. "I d-don't want t-to see you getting pushed a-around all the time b-because you won't fight..."

"If I had taken it calmly though, I wouldn't have been hurt back at the tower. I wouldn't have left, I wouldn't be like I am now," Luke replied, a bit miserably. All fighting did was hurt people, physical fighting anyway.

"I just...I don't want to cause anybody pain," Luke replied. "I've spent years in excruciating pain, and I don't want anyone to experience it. Not my friends especially, but even everyone else. People on the other side of a fight are still people."

"L-Luke, if someone comes t-to kill us, a-are we just s-s-supposed t-to let th-them slit our throats...?" Kira asked. As against fighting as she was, she didn't want herself, Luke, or the forest to be in any sort of danger.

"I suppose you have a point," Luke admitted. "I hadn't really thought it through, it was just the first thought I had when I was able to think after regaining my Flow."

Kira nodded, feeling her face heat up a little as her stomach did flip-flops. "Y-You're welcome..." she responded, looking down at the ground and smoothing out the skirt of her dress nervously.

Elena ran over to the sink, slamming her bowl down, before running over to Simon and grabbing his arm.

"I-I think I needed that," Luke replied a bit sheepishly. As he so often did with Kira, he found himself at a loss for words.
