Tom stood up, feeling better and wiping his mouth. He stayed stoic, however, choosing not to point out the obvious.

Sara gripped her knife, standing in the corner of the room she had awoken in, and was pointing it at anyone who tried to get near her.

She was confused as to where she was and who they were, but the dominate emotion she had at the moment was fear. Fear of what they would do to her.

Heidi stood up, grinning eerily at Tom and Nathan. "Didn't expect to see you two again," she chuckled, her red eyes flickering dangerously. "Thanks for that, without you, I doubt Heidi would've pushed herself into releasing me. As for your thank you present, maybe I'll do some painting with your blood. I'm sure Heidi would like that."

Tom stamped his foot, the sand at the bottom of the lake turning into solid stone as he eyed Heidi warily.

"Perhaps you should leave this to me," he said to Nathan quietly. Now he knew how Heidi had felt.

"Oh, so I should paint you first?" Heidi giggled to Tom, readying her dagger. "I was hoping to save you for last, so I could give Heidi back control just in time to see you die. Such a stupid girl, you know."

"I have nothing worth saying to you, and I'm sure you have nothing worth listening to to say to me," Tom replied eloquently, waiting for the girl to make the first move. He didn't want to get involved in mind games. In strength, he thought he was stronger, but he wasn't sure he could stop this girl from getting under his skin.

"D'aww, don't you want to talk to me, Tombo?" Heidi asked mockingly, raising the dagger to her own throat. "Maybe I'll just kill her. It won't hurt me, I'm just a manifestation of Flow that you and Nathan helped bring to life."

"So then what happens to you?" Tom asked reluctantly. Now he was worried, and it was going wrong in exactly the way he expected. Oh, Nathan or one of Tom's own attacks could be across in an instant, but it would only take that for Heidi to be dead.

"Flow is everywhere, y'know? Maybe I'll become a plant, or be reborn into another, less stupid person," Heidi answered, grinning widely. "Yes, I think that would be very nice."

"Oh, no, I meant I will be reborn. Perhaps in a plant, a rock, an animal, maybe a human... I'm pretty open. It's not a fun time being trapped in the body of a girl who's scared of you for six years," Heidi clarified.

"I've been trapped without control for five year, I know what it's like," Tom replied soothingly, frightened for Heidi's wellbeing. This thing was getting under his skin.

"Oh do you now?" Heidi laughed. "Well that sucks, since I'm sure I got to see the light of day more than you. This is the first time I've had my own body fully, though. Not too shabby." She lowered the dagger from Heidi's neck, twirling on one foot.

Tom didn't yet know that she had lowered the knife, and so was still quite worried. The water and Flow was making it hard for him to see.

"So what should I call you? And don't say Heidi," Tom asked.

Heidi paused in thought, before grinning widely. "Ooh, how 'bout Mary? Heidi would hate that." Taking the knife, she started scratching on Heidi's arm.

Mary pushed herself into a sitting position. The others would easily be able to see that Heidi wasn't dead. "T-Tombo...why...?" she croaked, doing her best to imitate Heidi. There was so much fun to be had with manipulating people.

"Is she alright or not?!" Tom asked worriedly. After all, fallen was often used instead of dead, and Tom's nerves were high-strung. When he heard Heidi, she sounded like she was about to die. Had she really slit her throat while Tom had just stood by and let her?
