"We need to hit it with enough power to cause a disruption in the flow intake." Nathan said calmly. "This will cause it to cave in on itself and go boom. Luckily the explosion is none lethal but it will tear up the ground and make us all feel a bit disorientated for a bit."

"You've got it in one." Nathan said as calmly as he could manage. "Tom and I will provide the brunt of the attack, but its going to take all of us to damage it enough."

"You were fighting beside me while I was under Shima's control, any tips for me to use?" Tom asked Nathan, gathering what power he could.

"Shima often described it as earthquake in reverse if that makes much sense. I'd see it more as a compact earthquake with the power rising from the earth and impacting with something." Nathan advised as he pulled his darkness mask over his face.

Heidi gripped her blood dagger, feeling rather unnecessary in this effort. But if it helped her get back to the village sooner, then she supposed she'd participate.

"And Heidi, imagine the heartbeat at its most erratic. And then imagine the heart constantly beating like that through out the year." Nathan began. "From there put every frantic beat into one massive beat and unleash your power as it explodes."

Tom's hands glowed green and his eyes went pale as waited for Nathan's mark.

"No. Just a heart in general. Focus the power through your hands and you should secrete your raw flow rather than blood." Nathan explained.

Heidi shifted on her feet uneasily, closing her eyes and trying to imagine a pounding heartbeat in her fingertips. The rate gradually got faster and faster, and she struggled to fit the power into one beat.

Suddenly, her hands flared red, as a red tint began to cover her eyes.

"Now..." Nathan mused having looked at Melaney and noticing she knew what to do.

"FIRE!" He yelled sending a massive blast of pure darkness straight into the centre of the orb.

Heidi barely registered the word "fire," she was quite busy trying not to give in to her Flow. She managed to force her Flow at the orb, her hands shaking as she did so.

Tom focused his considerable power, sending Shima's 'reverse earthquake' at it with concussive force. His face was set in a poker face, but the new trick was challenging enough.

Nathan unleashed full power and suddenly the orb pulsated and a red hue overtook the green and cast its light over all of them.

The orb seemed to shake as green and red fought against each other.

"Keep going!" Nathan called, forcing out all his hate and anger.

Tom began exerting more force, his face becoming slightly strained. His whole body shone green as he put all of his power into the attack, matching Nathan's efforts.

Heidi shook as she found herself fighting a losing battle against her own Flow. Another surge of Flow came from her hands, before her eyes turned red.

Nathan let Empathy blossom at the same time as he attacked and forced calm into Heidi, putting as much as he could afford into it.

The orb turned completely red and then it began to look like it was cracking.

Heidi's eyes stayed red, though she didn't stop channeling Flow into the orb.

With the sound of shattering glass the orb cracked and exploded sending a massive sonic boom outwards that split the water and blew sand outward everywhere.

A feeling of nausea, light headedness and dizziness overtook all four of them and Nathan had to fall to his knee's to stop himself from falling on his back.

Heidi fell backwards, dropping the dagger and clutching her head as she let out an animalistic yelp.

Tom's sense were assailed as he dropped to his knees for stability. He promptly lost his breakfast as the Flow crowded his sensing abilities. He couldn't shut it off, so he had to weather the storm.

After what felt like hours the force stopped and all the lights concentrated on one thing in the middle and then the light dropped to the ocean.

Slowly, Nathan got up. He was panting slightly. "We... did it."
