The instant the flames hit her shadows, she was away. Growling, she shot at the beast, serpents forming from her shadows with cutting teeth.

As the serpents shot forward one of the Hydra's heads came at them from the side and bit into them with poison leaking teeth.

A band of earth reached up around a few of the hydra's neck, aiming to pull them down and slam them into the ground.

The poison did absolutely nothing to the serpents. They simply swarmed around the head, catching it in an iron embrace as spikes protruded from their bodies.

The spikes had no effect other than leaving a couple of very small dents in the Hydra's skin.

Meanwhile Nathan's box of darkness receded and ink splattered everywhere as one of the Hydra's heads had been completely torn apart.

The Hydra's head smacked into the ground but all they did was shoot eight concentrated blasts of water at Tom.

Heidi pushed herself to her feet, not having any idea on how she could be any help in this fight. Her spear turned into a shield as she figured she should at least partially defend herself instead of being completely useless.

A wall appeared in front of Tom, the water gradually eroding it while the man grunted with strain. Then the plain stone seemed to shimmer in the sunlight, before transforming into a much harder, shinier and translucent rock that held off the water. Diamond.

The earth seemed to be pulling the eight heads of the hydra under, but the process was moving along at a crawl since Tom was busy elsewhere.

Melaney grinned and pressed the spikes harder and harder into the Hydra's head, murmuring a few words in a weird language as her eyes began to shine yellow.

Simon looked at the two in awe, feeling bad that Elena had been feeling that way. At times it seems like everyone hates that Joey and Erika are married... but why?

The heads that were being pulled underground began to roar and the beast's body shook before from the stump hurtled ink that splattered on all four of the adults.

As soon as it began to touch them they began to wrap around them and constrict their movements.

Nathan scowled as the Hydra's ripped themselves from the earth as well as hitting the serpents with such force that they hit the earth at breakneck speeds.

He placed a hand over his chest and with his other roughly pulled Heidi in front of him.

"Stay close to me until I tell you. I know how to kill it."

"Your THAT Luke!? Im sorry,Mr. Luke, I didn't mean to offend you! Victorias tone changed n an instant.

The serpents paid no mind to hitting the ground and were right back at attacking one of the heads, this time trying to worm their way into its mouth. Instead of being tangible, though, they simply became shadows once more.

"Your town's back behind you," Luke replied, frowning, and feeling a bit like he had in the village, like a freak. He turned away, going to leave.

Tom smirked, opening up a giant chasm under the hydra's body, figuring a metal body would just make it sink faster.

"W-wait, Mr Luke! I didn't mean to offend you!" Victoria calle out to him before bowing in respect. "I'm sorry!"

Heidi grunted in reaction to being dragged. "Okay," she responded unsurely, eying the hydra nervously. Was Nathan planning on using her as a meat shield? Fun times, fun times.

Kira frowned as her question remained unanswered, but followed Luke nonetheless.

"...Why are you bowing?" Luke asked gruffly, confused.

"Victoria," said girl answered to Kira. "I'm sorry for not responding right away Miss."

"As a sign of respect, Mr Luke!" Victoria then responded to Luke.

Kira's frown deepened, not remembering any Victoria from the tournament. "K-Kira..." she stated quietly, figuring it was polite to give the girl her own name, even if she was acting strange towards Luke.

"A pleasure Miss Kira!" Victoria then bowed to her.

"Why do you keep showing me a sign of respect then? I've never seen you before," Luke replied callously.

Kira backed away from Victoria and closer to Luke, genuinely freaked out by this girl.

"Nathan spoke highly of you!" She reponded as she sraightened up an smiled.

"W-what?!" Luke asked, before regaining his control. "I-I don't believe you. Maybe of Kira here..."

Kira laughed weakly at Luke's last statement. Why would Nathan speak highly of her?
