Luke laughed along happily. He loved these kind of days, where Kira was in a happy mood.

"Maybe you should cook for me more often!" Kira teased. Was this what friendship was like before the Storm? She didn't remember all that well anymore, it'd been a long time since she'd seen anyone she knew before the Storm, let alone her friends. "It really does taste good, a lot better than what I'm used to eating."

Kira quickly returned, carrying the clean dishes up to the treehouse, picking up her and Luke's blankets on her way down, since it was getting cold. Luke probably wasn't cold anyway, but it couldn't hurt. Staying silent, she placed Luke's blanket next to him, before wrapping her own around her shoulders and sitting down next to her friend. "You okay? It's getting colder. I didn't know if you wanted a blanket or not."

"Okay, I-I just didn't know if you wanted a blanket or not..." Kira responded quietly, leaning back and looking up at the sky as well. The first stars were starting to come out as the forest gradually got darker.

Nathan frowned and folded his arms. "It's getting dark. Get some rest... we've got an interesting day ahead tomorrow."

With that he froze himself off a complete section of the little hut and closed his eyes, doing his best to fight off the demons that assaulted him when he let his emotions flow.

Tom sat himself down and meditated, the troubles of his team-mates not lost on him. He himself was close to reaching mastery of his Flow, or so he reckoned.

"You could see the stars from where you lived?" Kira asked curiously. She had never seen real stars- the ones in books and on TV didn't count- until after the Storm.

Heidi yawned, waking up rather confused. She had been sprawled out on the sand several yards away from the hut. She didn't remember coming back, so she figured she'd just gone to sleep outside. "Good job, Heidi," she muttered to herself, shaking the sand out of her hair as she sleepily walked back to the hut thing.

Kira blinked away, finding herself curled up on the ground next to Luke, probably in some unconscious attempt to stay warm. She sat up, smoothing out her rather rumpled dress, before trying to wake up Luke without scaring him. He was jumpy in the mornings.

Elena was still asleep, not caring whether or not she'd made it back to her bed sometime in the night.

Zackary had slept on the hill, a distance away from the village. All it had on it was a simple tree.

Tom had slept alright during the night, much better than he used to. He sensed out Heidi, wanting to be sure of her safety with the new companion. Nathan would have caused a ruckus if he'd been attacked, and Tom wasn't worried about himself. Speaking of Nathan, he needed to talk to him about those demons...

Luke had curled up, knees drawn close to his chest, as he slept. He unwound himself as Kira woke him up, stretching out his arms and legs wide and letting loose a large yawn.

"Morning," he managed through his yawn.

Adeline was in a field just outside the village, training her Flow. She left her watch in her house, so if she went any farther, she would probably lose consciousness.
