"Shh..." Kira soothed, gently brushing Sara's hair out of her face, trying to get the girl to relax in her sleep. They wouldn't be able to move her if she would possibly stab them at any moment.

But even as she untensed, the grip would not loosen. It had already past the point, where just taking her back would have been quicker then trying to get her to let go, a while ago.

Kira frowned, before reluctantly picking up the girl. Perhaps Luke hadn't seen the knife. "Where sh-should we take her...?" the brunette asked.

"I'd say the village, cos' we might be able to get something to eat there," Luke eventually replied after a few moments of indecision.

Kira nodded, giggling quietly about the food part. "Oh! Can y-you make sure the f-fire's out? Th-that would really hurt if the whole forest burned down..."

Luke decided that after his earlier troubles, he would be better to manually extinguish the fire.

"Yeah, be back in a minute."

"O-Okay," Kira responded, happy that Luke seemed to be going to manually extinguish the fire. She'd been a little worried since he'd insisted that she didn't need to get the matches earlier.

Luke was back a few minutes later, ready to go.

"We don't need to get anything before we go, do we?" Luke asked, realising he probably should have asked before he went back to extinguish the fire.

Kira nodded, starting to head towards the village. Sara wasn't all that heavy, not only was she tiny, but also rather scrawny. Plus, Kira had gotten physically stronger since the tournament.

"Good to hear, good to hear. I've gone a lot longer without food, but I think I'm getting used to regular eating during my last few weeks staying here," Luke replied, wondering if he was softening up.

Kira paused nervously at the edge of the forest. One bad thing about interacting with people was that it often led to more interaction, outside of her forest. She didn't really like leaving.

Luke led the way, knowing how Kira hated leading, until they got to the gates. Knowing that knocking on huge gates wouldn't do much, Luke called out, not too loud so as not to scare Kira.

"Hello?"
