Kira frowned. "Uh...I lived pretty close to the United States - Mexico border. I probably w-was in Mexico a few times...b-but I hadn't b-been too far away from home ever..." she admitted quietly. She wasn't sure how it was in Ireland, but she knew that Hispanic people weren't treated the best in America, though she'd never really experienced it herself, having never been too far from home.

"Ah right. I lived in a suburb not too far out from the city centre. Not too close to the sea, but I still went a few times. Dublin had terrible beaches. And the weather was never exactly beach weather," Luke reminisced.

Kira smiled. "Lucky! I never h-had any siblings, a-at least that I know of, but everyone in the building took care o-of each other."

"Well that's nice. My sister went to Scotland for college when I was ten, but it was seven of us in the house up until then. Pretty hectic," Luke laughed.

"Nowhere near as bad as when all of my sisters were home at the same time. Me and my brother didn't have the energy to beat any of 'em in an argument," Luke chuckled.

Kira's frown deepened, before shaking her head. "W-We weren't supposed t-to argue... G-Good housewives d-d-don't argue..." she mumbled, rocking on her heels nervously.

"W-what?" Luke stuttered, not sure what she was talking about. He stuttered because he had been snapped out of memory lane, and because he was worried about her reaction.

"P-People...everyone... M-Mom didn't, b-but she w-was an ou-outsider..." Kira mumbled meekly. She didn't really want Luke thinking she was some sort of freak.

"I-It may n-not be r-right...b-b-but th-that's how i-it was..." Kira mumbled, looking down at the ground and clutching her jacket with shaking hands. Did Luke think she was some sort of primitive freak now? She didn't want to lose her only friend.

"O-Okay..." Kira mumbled, hesitantly raising her gaze until she was looking back towards Luke. She still looked a little scared, but at least she wasn't shaking anymore.

Kira nodded again, before looking up towards the sky. "Um...d-do you want s-something p-partiular f-for supper...?" she asked, since the sun was beginning to set, and she was starting to get hungry herself.

"Uh, I'm not picky. Well, it's more that I don't like making decisions," Luke replied. He had found that, ever since losing to Nathan, his confidence, like his Flow and his body, never recovered. He hated being in front of people or having to make decisions, however small they may be.

Kira frowned. "I-I think I have s-some noodles from the village st-still... We c-could have sp-spaghetti..." she suggested. One of them had to make important decisions... And she'd rather it not be her, though she didn't want to force Luke into anything.
