"Funny reference," Neo chuckled as he brought his arms behind his neck.

Elena waved goodbye to Emma one last time, before running off in the direction of the village, stopping after a couple of yards, and yelling back at Simon to hurry up. "So slow, so slow!" she cried out mockingly, bouncing on the balls of her feet.

Simon took a final looked at Eithne before speeding off, easily catching up to Elena.

Elena grinned toothily, picking a rock up off the ground and throwing it into the air and catching it as it came back down. "Look, Simon, now I'm all dirty," she laughed, gesturing to her once purple dress that was now more of a purplish brown.

"Nice try, but I'm going to win!" Simon said back.

"Eh, we're racing?" Elena asked, tilting her head as she watched Simon run off ahead of her. With a shrug she ran after him, hiking up her dress so she didn't trip.

Sage looked over at the children with a slight smile. It had been a while since she could actually play like that... She missed it, but now, she was almost a adult...and her blessing was still messed up. Her spells were gong more and more awry.

Zackary was a good example. He had asked if she could double his power, she tried...now he was compeltely fucked up. Three personalities...

"I'll follow behind them, keep an eye on them for you," the spellcaster said aloud as she followed behind the two children.

Erika smiled as she walked back as well after talking with the Illuminatus. She stopped by the woods with a worried look. "... I want to check and see if Kira and Luke are alright."

Simon continued to run, not stopping as he put all of his energy into running.

"They are around as well?" Zackary asked for Sage. The magic girl had stopped and turned around.

She did remember them quite well.

"Simon!" Elena cried ahead of her, almost tripping on her dress a couple times. At least Erika hadn't made her wear shoes.

Simon continued to run, no longer paying atention to the world around him.

"Yes. Kira lives in the forest beside the village and Luke began living with her after he showed up a little over a week ago." Erika answered.

"How are they doing!?" Sage demanded as she held up to talk to the woman. "...I still have to make up for not being able to help much with Luke back then..."

"Simon...!" Elena whined, slowing to a stop as she simply continued to walk to the village.

Heidi cutting the Power Booster was all Nathan needed. The momentary lapse in power gave him the chance to get up and with a burst of Super Speed he dug his sword into the male's chest and split him clean in two.

Turning to the Empath he smirked. "Good morning..."

"They're doing alright." Erika answered calmly. "Luke is still suffering a bit from past injuries, but they're both alive."

"What do you need off th' hard drive, again?" Heidi asked, moving past the empath and towards the computer. It'd been forever since she'd seen one of these...

Sage nodded to Erika, then looked down at the children. "I should try again..."

"Just take the whole hard drive." Nathan responded. With a wave of his hand he pushed the Empath back into the wall with a tendril of darkness and then wrapped the tendril around her wrists and ankles. Pinning her to the wall.

He felt fear run through him thanks to her ability but he just kept walking forward. With a shrug he stepped forward and wrapped his hand around her throat.

A white light lit up the room before dimming and slipping into Nathan's arm.

He drove his sword into the girls heart before falling backwards and frowning as he tried to get a read on his new ability.

"Was it necessary to scare the shit out of her like that?" Heidi asked, frowning at the girl's body as she tried to figure out how the hell to open the computer. What did the hard drive look like, anyway? She'd never taken a computer apart before.

But Joey was not with them, as he was still having the private convo with Amelia, that they could not have participated in.

Joey thought for a moment. "...Ok....but as a precaution, that guardian will be searched before hand, and if any weapons, or other objects that could bring harm to one of our villagers are found, then we will have them confiscated." Joey said. "The guardian will also not be allowed inside into any important buildings...I'm sorry if this seems strict, but village safety is incredibly important, and we want to make sure Elena and Simon are safe as well."

"Probably not..." Nathan mused turning and glancing at Heidi, using his empathy to read her emotions. "... You really don't like me." He noted.

"No shit, Sherlock," Heidi stated, staring at the jumbled mess of wires. "Which part of this is a hard drive?"

"This is an interesting ability..." Nathan murmured. "I can sense everything you feel and also how to change it... wait... I can even get a better idea of how to use Telepathy to get into your brain..." he stopped and felt himself feel something akin to guilt.
