They has gotten a fair bit up the line when Abby was off getting the book, and soon they were at the top. As she had at the tourist office, she looked to Xavier to do the talking.

The guy at the desk gave the pair a weird look, before making the necessary arrangement, and handing them their boarding passes.

"As long as you just have carry-on luggage, you're free to to board now. Enjoy your flight," he said pleasantly. Abby nodded her thanks, before shouldering her bag and looking up at Xavier.

They boarded the plane, Abby chiming 'window seat~' as they boarded, lunging ahead of her partner to take it.

Freddie cast an eye over at his partner, seeing if she'd wake from the sudden movement. He prepared himself for the long flight to the Big Apple.
