Joey nodded, concerned. While he was upset they had interrupted his wedding, if they were being controlled, and if they were dieing because of it, he wanted to help them. "...What do you need me to do?"

"Five years...has it really been five years since the Acer Tournament?" Sage wondered aloud to her companion. Both of them wore a cloak, his covered his spiky black hair that had grown out. His was black, while hers was white. Zackary hadn't really changed that much, his family's sword and shield was still on his back. "Feels like it was only yesterday..."

The man huffed in response. His eyes closed, while she could tell his arms were folded underneath his cloak. "Whatever, it just made us stronger."

The seventeen year old sighed as she leaned on her staff. "You really need to stop being so god damn serious... It's a wonder you still have a friend."

Paul stepped into the doorway of the broken gates, his brown cloak thrown around his shoulders, concealing his trusty AK47.

"Sweet baby jeezus, anybody know how to knock anymore," He chuckled to himself. His hair had grown out a bit, looking rather shaggy as he had been cutting hit with his bayonet. His skin was caked with grime and dirt and his clothes underneath his cloak were just as muddy. He was wearing all animal leather, and some scale, clothing. Surprisingly, he still had his old backpack, which was stocked with all his supplies and such.
"Now then," he muttered, "Lets go find the party."

Luke rolled his eyes at Joey's questions, keenly observing the battlefield. It was pretty obvious they were being controlled, but from where? It had to be the car, Luke reasoned, as it's the most defensible position to take, not to mention a leader wouldn't give their underlings a car ahead of them. He turned to glance at Kira, making sure she was still safe. 

"Don't focus on Joey and the sign-language guy, they're idiots, but look at that car, please. Can you see anything in it? I think that's where the controller is. More specifically, can you feel lots of Flow coming from it? That should tell us," Luke asked Kira calmly.

Raspy voice removed his cloak to reveal something strapped to his chest. It it looked to be some sort of clock.

Kira stuttered something inaudible, looking fearfully at the car, her hands shaking. She kept looking at that stupid machine and thinking about the Storm, and that scared her even more than the surrounding battle. She visibly glowed a pale green, although it seemed a lot more unstable than usual, searching for a strong Flow coming from the car. She didn't want to let Luke down just because she was afraid.

"Come on," Sage puled off her staff, gesturing in a random direction with it. "I'm starting to get hungry and I saw a town in this direction...hopefully it's not abandoned..."

Zackary didn't say a word in response as he brushed past the magic girl in the direction she had gestured to. He felt a strange breeze coming from that direction...

I still have my dynamite. he thought, placing a halnd on his belt.

Joey cursed. "...Do you know how to defuse it?"

Paul made his way to the sounds of battle, slinging his AK down to a ready position yet still keeping it hidden. He threw his vast Flow outwards, collecting the stray energy the was being thrown around and bottling it tight into a small pebble he kept on himself.
When he made it to the church, he whistled at the sight. Kids fighting other kids, a few familiar faces defending themselves, and most importantly, that familiar clicking sound he knew and loved.

Erika coughed as she made her way through the still burning wreckage, using a shot of her Flow to keep any embers from catching her skin which had begun to singe her dress.

The person shook their head. "O-N-L-Y O-N-E C-A-N."

"Do you know where they are?" Joey asked. "And are there other ones?"

"..." The figure nodded to the second one, looking over with a slight panic in their eyes at the girl who slit her throat, who's corpse was now bleeding out on the hood of the jeep.

"...Are those the only ones?" Joey asked after a moment. This was a serious matter, and he needed to know all he could, if he was going to protect his village.

"Say..." Sage said as the two had walked up to the enterance to the town. "Something seems...odd here..." she shivered for a minute.

"A fight is breaking out here," Zackary said, walking into the town and glancing around. "Stay quiet. We're moving in."

Paul walked up to one of the kids who wasn't facing him and tapped the poor fellow on the shoulder.

A small boy that looked around nine years old with long curly brown hair and light brown eyes looked up at Paul.

The teen who set off the bombs was running with three others through the debree of the village when one of them stopped. One of the others turned around.

"What is it, Dean?"

But before Dean could reply his eyes widened at the figures in terror and started crawling to get away. A girl with white hair looked confused and turned around... to find a woman glowing blue-green with a burnt wedding dress and equally glowing eyes.

"Fall." Erika said, and all of them did.

Paul jammed the steel butt of his AK put into the boys face the second he turned around.

Before Paul could do so another figure rammed into him like a bull, shoving the man onto the ground. It was another boy, lookign very similar to the other but taller and stockier.

"Looks like someone hasn't lost their edge yet," Zackary commented to Sage, seeing a woman in a burnt wedding dress simply command them to fall. "Seems like things are somewhat under control here."

Sage looked at her, trying to remember where she had seen her before...

"Unless of course, you still need people to be blown away..."

Paul simply let the boy shove him, transferring all the energy thrown into the push into the ground. "Kids, play nice now. I don't feel like killing you, he said calmly, pushing himself up.

Joey nodde, and was silent for a moment, trying to think of a way to save them, before sighing. "I'm sorry...but there's no way I'll be able to save you in time."

[Stabberz]

A loud snap echoed throughout the scene of the battle as Nathan tore the head of the Acid Creating adult from his body. He spun his way into the one using flames and hit him with such a strong burst of Lightning that his body was completely fried. He turned his attention to Tom and Heidi.

"Need any help?" He called to Heidi as the guy with Super Strength threw a gargantuan punch at Tom whilst the guy with Invulnerability drew two straight swords and slashed.

Eithne ran forward to see Simon and with a few quick hand gestures the Illuminati all seemed to be engulfed in a golden flow and then they disappeared. Only to reappear inside the village all stood around the jeep.

Back with Eithne the adult looked at Simon. "You okay, kid?"

All that Kira could sense was the body and the now sobbing figure, besides Joey. Nothing else was in the car.

"Josh!" The smaller boy yelled, running over to the boy who was now glaring at Paul.

"Don't touch my brother." Josh snarled.
